Located in Särnaheden in the Dalarna region, Knappgården is peacefully located amongst nature and ski areas. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. Every room features a TV and a small pentry. Guests can play table tennis on site and relax in the sauna. The on-site restaurant features panoramic views and serves meals based on local and organic produce. You can engage in various activities, such as dog sledding, fishing, hunting and horse riding. Snowmobile tracks are found just by the property. Idre Ski Resort is a 30-minute drive away.

“A short visit on a skiing trip in a peaceful place ... I recommend it.”
Cozy place and environment with nice old buildings. Friendly hosts. We couldn't have breakfast due to a very early departure (Vasaloppet). We got a refund for that even though we didn't even ask for it.

“Excellent food, warm welcome”
Simple room but totally comfortable and functional for a family of 4. Great games room for the kids. Extremely welcoming hosts, we felt right at home. The food was excellent, absolutely delicious, both dinner and breakfast and the children felt very taken care of too. Thanks so much.

“Highly recommended”
Knappgården is in a quiet location. I had a nice room with a small kitchenette. Breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of food items to choose from, many of them organic. Lots of free parking nearby and WiFi worked well. The hosts Annika and Kjell were very friendly and helpful. They gave me some good advice for exploring nature in the surrounding area which made my stay extra enjoyable. Knappgården has an overall warm atmosphere.

“Excellent!!!”
Very cozy accommodation with a little rustic charme. Beautifully located in the countryside with an exceptional view into the valley. The hosts Annika and Kjelle will give a very warm welcome and will take very good care of you. I absolutely recommend getting dinner at Knappgården - so delicious! Breakfast is was nothing shy of luxurious! Clean and cozy rooms, parking right next to the buildings!

- Hosts: Annika and Kjelle were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Annika provided excellent advice and suggestions for local adventures with detailed maps, guides, and binoculars (we even saw an abandoned bear den!). - Cuisine: Chef Kjelle's cuisine was AMAZING, made from locally grown and organic ingredients. Every meal was absolutely delicious (we ate breakfasts and dinners), and special care was taken to accommodate my vegetarian diet, which I greatly appreciated. - Location: The property is ideally situated near Fulufjället National Park and other natural sites such as Nipfjället, Yxningåfallen Falls, and Tjärnvallen Falls. We enjoyed exploring these stunning natural areas and were lucky to see an elk and a few reindeer. - Amenities: The bungalow we stayed in was perfectly clean and very comfortable (comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, very spacious etc). - Communication: Clear and efficient communication via the booking.com app. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in nature with wonderful hosts and delicious food.

Really lovely accommodation, conveniently located for Idre and Fulfjället areas. Excellent range of high quality food for breakfast, friendly and very helpful hosts. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the facilities also are very good, with outdoor seating area with lovely views, sauna and games area.

“Great winter experience”
We spend a great weekend, the room had a good size with an private entrance that was great for the dogs. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap, heated floor and towel warmer. The small kitchen in the room was great to heat food. The breakfast was very good, with fresh croissant and different options of meat. The hosts were very welcoming, helped with a lot of tips on what to do during our stay, always friendly and ready to help.

We loved the location and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped with comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely. So was diner although a bit pricey…
