Location was absolutely unbeatable! Room/bathroom was clean and very decent size. Staff was very nice. It was low season, so not much people there. Definitely enjoyed the buffet at breakfast; repetitive, but warm and tasty (eggs, bacon, fruits, pastries, juices, cereals etc.) The pool area is dated and small, but convenient. Outdoor seeting area is nice. Parking is free and very big. Some toileteries, souvenirs and food (snacks, beverages, frozen) available at the reception. Restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (only had breakfast). Soap/bodywash/shampoo available in the shower. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine in the room. Small closet with hangers. TV with many channels. AC/heat system was great. Very confortable mattress and pillows. Very safe neighbourhood.

“Great Hotel; Great Location”
I stayed in a room overlooking the Historical Park which I visited daily. Location was close to amenities. Great choice of breakfast options. I would definitely stay at this location again.

The hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Saratoga, the racetrack and it borders Congress Park. There is also a free shuttle that will take you to the track and around town. The pools were nice also indoor and outdoor.

“overcharged by mistake”
Stayed in this hotel for one night with kids attending the NY state math counts competition. The infrastructure is fine. The food is not bad. But I was overcharged more than $100 two hours after I checked out. Fortunately I was still nearby so I went to the reception asking for a reason. They insisted they hadn’t charged this and I should contact my bank. I told them this answer didn’t make sense because the money was paid to the hotel. After 10 minutes they admitted that was a mistake. Another guest checked in the same room and the hotel still charged on my credit card. I couldn’t understand why this mistake happened and if I was not nearby how I could ask my money back.

Value for money was excellent. Room was clean and neat, breakfast was fantastic, and the swimming pool was lovely. For the price we paid, we were extremely impressed with the facilities. Of course, some things are a little old, but they are clean and in working order. This was our return trip from a week away in New York City. We returned from NYC to Albany via Amtrak, then grabbed our car and drove to Saratoga Springs (only about 30 mins away).

Staff was very helpful, Shuttle was great. Delivered us and picked us up. Room was clean. For a older hotel it has been updated and the room was nice. Breakfast was included and was good .
