Friendly stuff

If you’re visiting Sarapiquí, this is the place to stay. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and trails leading through the forest all the way to the river. Along the way, we spotted toucans, iguanas, and even poison dart frogs – an unforgettable experience. Everything is spotless and clearly run with great care and attention to detail. What stood out most, though, was the exceptional hospitality – we felt genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay. The team also helped us organize our activities and fully tailored everything to our needs. Our room was simple and practical, yet very comfortable. It had air conditioning, a fridge, and a coffee maker, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was clean, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast is prepared with love, and all the food was outstanding. Our 6-year-old even said these were the best fries she has ever had! We truly hope to come back one day.

“Superb hosts in a wonderful setting”

The accommodation is rustic and fairly basic but the location is fantastic and the staff couldn't be more helpful. They even looked after our 9 year old daughter one evening to enable us to go on a night tour. You are surrounded by so many birds it is a delight from the first moment each day. The breakfast is very good and the staff will organise tours for you and give you good recommendations. The pool is a treat too and you can watch all types of birds flying around while you take a dip. We loved this place. It isn't high end luxury, but that's not what we are visiting for - we would rather avoid the crowds and be immersed in this wildlife haven.

Beautiful, quiet setting. Amazing gardens with birds and hummingbird’s. Refreshing drinks, we had pineapple 🍍 and also watermelon 🍉 fresh juice, delicious, nice dinner, lovely breakfast included. A/C and fridge. Friendly, helpful staff.

The location is perfect with an extensive set of well maintained trails for exploring the nature/wild life in this part of Costa Rica. We ate at the restaurant every evening and sampled some of the best of Costa Rican cooking. The "team" did everything to help us during our stay for example: arranging tours and taxis. Nothing was too much. We would especially like to mention Claudia in this regard.

Breakfast was just ok. Good birding and the recommended boat trip was fantastic. Resident Howler Monkeys were very vocal. Upstairs bar was cool. Pool was good except for 1 thing.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and attract lots of beautiful birds and wildlife. The property has walking trails in the trees. It is away from the busy and noisy main roads of Sarapiqui. The breakfast is very tasty. There's a coffee maker in the room The grounds are well maintained

“Fantastic location and wonderful staff”

Best thing was the wonderful staff, friendly and helpful, also pointing out nature points. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent, as were the juices. We enjoyed the trails around the property and the pool.

Hotel is set in beautiful gardens which attract lots of birds. Also saw howler monkeys in the trees between the hotel and the neighbouring river. The staff were wonderful and food was very good.

The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed walking the trails. The staff were all lovely, very helpful and kind. The organized some tours for us, which were all wonderful. The room was very large, air conditioning and the fan worked well. The restaurant was good but closes early.

The pool area was beautiful. The breakfast was good. The grounds were beautiful. We had lunch and at first it seemed expensive but there plates were full of delicious food and worth the money! We had an enjoyable stay.

The garden is truly beautiful, the trails and pool are really enjoyable and we saw many animals. The food, drinks and staff at the reception and restaurants are great. Really friendly and they make sure you have a pleasant stay.
