Just the location

The hotel itself is attractive and the location/views are lovely, however our experience was let down significantly by the level of guest service. On arrival after a very long journey with two young children, we discovered that the air conditioning in our suite was not working. Having already unpacked and settled the children for bed, we then had to repack and move rooms close to midnight, including carrying our sleeping 3-year-old. While I appreciate that technical issues can occur, what was most disappointing was the complete lack of follow-up afterwards. We were repeatedly assured that management would be informed, and despite specifically requesting to speak with a manager on several occasions during our stay, nobody ever contacted us, apologised or acknowledged the inconvenience. We also requested room cleaning one afternoon and were abruptly informed that cleaning hours had finished and nobody was available to assist. The property itself has many positives, but for a hotel marketed as 5-star, I expected far better communication, accountability and guest care when problems arise. Unfortunately, it was the lack of response rather than the original issue that left a lasting impression.

Breakfast was really good. the hotel itself was excellent and tremendous value. The staff were so nice and very friendly. Location was perfect. Excellent value and no complaints whatsoever. We enjoyed our sty very much. The Albanian people are very friendly and welcoming.

“Very clean hotel with a great pool and opposite the beach!”

The cleaners were amazing - they would even mop the water at the pool around us all the time, so no one slipped! They scrubbed the windows and cleaned the bathrooms in public spaces well. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Bathroom space was a bit tight due to positioning but the shower itself was spacious and bath products were good. The Reception Manager made an effort to entertain our two children as they got to know us better during our stay and let them play at reception for novelty ‘work’. Overall the hotel’s position was good and a two minute walk distance to nice local Sarande beach and restaurants. We also visited Ksamili, as it’s our original favourite beach. I would recommend to book a taxi as the once an hour bus was so overcrowded we were like ultra squashed cattle for a twenty mins ride which was not worth the taxi saving! Ask around and see if you can get a good price. Taxi drivers were charging a lot just for small distance rides so maybe ask if the hotel reception can call a taxi at a better price. (We were charged 20€ just from the port to the hotel on arrival which is no more than 5-7 minutes!) Food at the hotel, at the poolside Restaurant, was nice for lunches.

Overall, the experience was positive. Fair pricing, reliable housekeeping, and quiet rooms with comfortable beds created a stay that felt simple but very satisfying.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was well organized, clean, and very comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great holiday experience. A special thanks goes to “Xheni” at the reception. She was truly wonderful kind, professional, and always with a smile. She made my stay even more enjoyable with her warm welcome and helpful attitude.

Location and the pool area was really good. Jenny in the reception was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast had a lot of options and was really good.

Hotel is light and bright and modern with a GREAT location and a big pool. Breakfast is pretty good with plenty to choose from. Car parking is free and the security guards were very helpful. Staff were pleasant and helpful also.

We came back from a trip to Corfu and went directly to Hotel Butrinti. The hospitality was very good and the staff were welcoming. Although the spa was closed, at least the sauna and fitness facilities were available to use. Overall, it was a relaxing experience and we would be happy to return.
