Helen is an incredibly kind and very helpful person. You can tell she truly cares about making guests feel comfortable – we could always count on her support. From the very beginning, she made us feel well looked after. It’s clear that she runs the hotel with great heart and passion. Thanks to her, many things were easier – for example, she explained how we could pay a fine (which would be a huge problem without her!) or lent us an umbrella for the beach. This kind of attitude makes the stay completely stress-free and enjoyable. The hotel itself is fantastic – clean, modern, and spacious. The room was very large, the bathroom is comfortable, and the view from the balcony is simply breathtaking! After a whole day of sightseeing, we couldn’t wait to come back just to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset over the sea. Breakfasts were varied and delicious, served with great attention to detail. There’s something for everyone – both sweet and savory options. Another big advantage is the intimate atmosphere – no crowds, peace, and quiet. The hotel is a bit far from the crowded tourist center, so walking will take a little longer – but with a car, it’s no problem at all. We definitely recommend renting one, as it gives you the freedom to explore Albania. Thanks to having a car, we were able to discover less touristy spots that made a huge impression on us, for example on the way to Permet Old Bridge. It’s a truly beautiful place, great for photos and definitely worth seeing. For us, this place was perfect – the standard is easily 5 stars. We would love to return and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Helena is a wonderful host (and person), and anyone can feel she does her job with passion. Breakfast was awesome, the sea view is breathtaking. The appartments are large and very modern, noticeably of high quality materials. We liked being super close to everything, while away from the noise and agitation in order to relax at night. Helena shared great tips for visiting around and made our stay a delight!

This place was an absolute delight from start to finish. The breakfast was simply outstanding – fresh, varied, and clearly prepared with love. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her guests truly set this stay apart. “Amazing experience”

One thing I really loved was the hotel room- it was absolutely beautiful. You can tell that a lot of effort was put into it to make it cosy and pretty. It was so clean as well. The breakfast was so good- we were not really sure if we wanted to add breakfast but it was the best decision we made. One thing that really made my trip to Albania was Helen's and her family's hospitality!!! They were so lovely- I literally cried when I said goodbye to her!!! It really felt like she cared about all her guests and it was just so lovely to see that!! She was so kind to the both of us and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in Sarande. Ridwaan xx

Incredible service, super nice interactions with host. The room was also really nice and clean, with an incredible view (especially at sunset). Breakfast was amazing as well, with plenty of options to pick from. We had an amazing time and had everything we needed for our short trip, 100% recommend staying here :)

“Incredible stay, host and view”

The hotel was amazing. Helen and her family, amazing. The view, amazing. I have nothing else to say! Helen made it feel like it was home and like we were family. We’ve traveled a lot but we never experienced such hospitality and kindness anywhere! Honestly, words are not enough to express how lovely our stay was because of Helen and I can’t wait to go back. Also, the breakfast buffet was very nice and there’s a lot of variation. The rooms were very clean and smelled amazing, every day. We would recommend this place 10000%! There’s a reason why the reviews are so good. Keep in mind: you do need a rental car, like the other reviews said. The hotel is on a mountain, which comes with an amazing view, but you definitely need a car. But to be fair, you need a car in Sarande/Albania either way. Again, thank you so much for everything, Helen. We are grateful for everything and for your incredible energy.

“Hidden gem in Saranda”

Saranda has no shortage of hotels, but if you’re looking for a true hidden gem, this is it. Helen’s Seaside Resort, named after its lovely owner, offers a uniquely personal experience. Helen welcomed my girlfriend and I with genuine warmth and was incredibly kind throughout our entire stay. Unlike the larger, more impersonal hotels, this place is more intimate, allowing Helen to take excellent care of her guests and make everyone feel truly at home. Our room was spotless, and the view overlooking Saranda was simply breathtaking. As a vegetarian who enjoys savory breakfasts, I was especially impressed—the breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t just visually appealing but genuinely delicious, with plenty of savory vegetarian options. The overall atmosphere is calm and peaceful, tucked away from the crowded parts of Saranda, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. If we return to Saranda, we’ll definitely be staying here again!

Helen and her brother gave us a very warm welcome and helped us with everything. We went on a day trip to Corfu and they drove us to the harbor by car and picked us up again in the evening. The accommodation is a bit away from the hustle in the city which we found very good as it was very quiet.

Helen’s Seaside Resort was all I could ask for and more. The Resort was very clean, staff hand beds everyday though they didn’t have to. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. My stay there felt as if I was leaving with family rather than hotel. Helen was very helpful and thoughtful. Ready to help and provide her assistance. Will definitely recommend

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! The owner and her family were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a comfortable bed with a breathtaking view. The breakfast was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Super nice, new and modern hotel! Helen and her staff were amazing, so welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was great, the room and bathroom is a great size. Plenty of parking, having a car is by far the easiest way to get around here, and the hotel is a decent walk away from the town. Couldn’t have been a better stay 😊

“The best hotel experience in Albania”

Helen and her staff are the sweetest in the world. No contest. We stayed for 3 nights and it was the best place we stayed while in Albania. Not only were the rooms well kept, so were the surroundings outside the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. The entire staff was so helpful with even the smallest things, and even insisted on helping us on occasion, as we didn’t have a rental car. The rooms are great. The bed is soft, the air conditioner works fast and it’s so clean. We absolutely recommend staying with Helen and her staff when visiting Sarandë!

I will start to say that this is the second time we stay at this hotel and we enjoyed it so much that we made a decision to come every year if it's possible. Trust me, you will not regret if you choose to stay at this hotel. Everything is perfect, and Helen with her family are very very lovely and kind people. We love Albania and we love Helen's Seaside Resort. We cannot wait next year to come again! 🙏♥️

“Amazing!!”

I truly don’t know how to start writing this review, but this is the most amazing hotel experience I’ve ever had. Thank you so so so much to Helen and her family for making our first visit to Albania so special. They are the most amazing welcoming people you’ll ever meet, and I still to this day feel so blown away from their hospitality that I’m moved. Imagine coming home after a long day at the beach, getting served an iced cold beer and a pizza from Helen’s mothers recipe - and a question why you didn’t ask them to pick you up instead of calling a taxi. It’s truly like being in someone’s family home, but you also have the most amazing room to retire to whenever you feel like. And the rooms really are as amazing as the photos, if not better. I loved every attention to detail, and we slept like babies every night far away from the noises of the city. The breakfast was perfect and everything we needed to start the day, I especially loved the spanakopita with spinach, onions and cheese (so much that I asked to bring some for our boat ride back to corfu) 🥹. We’ve already asked to book again for next year 🫶🏼

Staying at this hotel was the best experience ever! Helen and her family are absolutely lovely, taking care of every little detail to ensure a perfect stay. From the moment we arrived, they took care of our suitcases, accompanied us to our room, and explained everything we needed to know. Our room, with its balcony overlooking the sea, was amazing. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered – the furniture, the bed sheets, the towels, and, of course, the stunning view. Breakfast was super tasty, with everything freshly cooked. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything was delicious. We also ordered a freshly made pizza for dinner, which was veeery good. When we realized we had forgotten our beach towels at home, they kindly lent us their own. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy our holiday. The service is irreproachable, the breakfast is very complete and excellent, all homemade. Prices are very affordable for a hotel as good as this one. I recommend it 100%, you won't regret your stay. Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in Albania.
