The best hotel in São Tomé without a doubt! The rooms are amazing! The food is absolutely incredible. The Staff is very friendly and well mannered. The pool area is super cool.

We really enjoyed some down time at this hotel at the end of our trip. The breakfast was excellent, had lovely fresh fruits and if something ran out it was very quickly replenished. The pool was relaxing and had plenty of loungers. Evening meals were very nice and the chocolate mousse was exceptional. There was unfortunately 1 staff member who let the team down. Wilson was rude to us on several occasions when it was completely uncalled for. The worst moment was when we had ordered a 375ml bottle of wine and he brought out a full size. I quickly apologised (not sure why I apologised, as it was not my error, but did anyway just to be polite) and stopped him from opening it so that the mistake could be rectified and when he went to get the correct size he stormed off and huffed and puffed despite it being his mistake. We were completely blown away and have never been made to feel that way in a restaurant before. On several other occasions we would say hello when passing and he wouldn’t respond or even attempt to crack a smile. I am sure that there would be many people that would really like to have a role like that in a hotel and it’s a shame that he doesn’t seem to appreciate his position.

I booked a one night stay here just to round off my multi week stay in Sao Tome with a bit of luxury and comfort close to the airport. Despite not arranging any transport after my flight in from Principe (I was prepared to walk the 15-20mins down the road), I was greeted by a driver who transported me to the hotel within a few minutes. Sadly as it was only around midday, I could not check in until 2pm but I made use of the restaurant for lunch. The food here is exceptional. You'll have seen comments about the chocolate mousse, but the banana cake pudding is also superb. Whether opting for local dishes or something more international like pizza, all my paid meals here were good and the staff very friendly and attentive. I would say even if you're not staying at this hotel, any visit to Sao Tome should involve a visit or two to the restaurant. Once checked in, I was taken to my room and it was a very welcome bit of quality and comfort. Beautifully clean and comfortable, with a very cozy bed. The bathroom is also very spacious and well equipped. I cannot fault the rooms at all, they have everything you need and it gave me the relaxing comfort I was looking for at the end of my trip. I had to check out by 11am, but staff were very accommodating with letting me leave my luggage in storage and making use of the waiting lounge before my transport to the hotel for my departing flight. Really glad I stayed here and experienced the quality.

“Yummy stay in São Tomé”

The pool was really nice. The breakfast was very good - amongst the best food i had during all my stay in the island. Bed was comfy.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a convenient location near the airport, which made our travel really easy. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The outdoor area was a nice place to relax, and to top it off, we got a upgrade for a small fee. The staff were friendly and attentive, excellent service all around.

The hotel manageress, Delfina, was very helpful, friendly and great to speak to. She set the standard for her staff to follow. Rooms facing inward to the garden and pool are the best. Handy for the airport and the beach is literally across the road. We were warned about the island being "cash" only" but the hotel takes cards and there is an ATM on the hotel property which worked with a UK debit card. The hotel organised car hire for us which went smoothly. Shame you cannot say that about the roads!

The place was really quiet though we stayed Sunday night so that might have been why. Breakfast truly was delicious, and the service was excellent. There was a complementary shuttle to the airport which was appreciated too.
