Everything about Chalet Recanto Nosso Lar was perfect. It's in a beautiful setting, the chalet is cute and comfy and the hosts are incredible. I didn't realise when I booked it that they spoke English which made my stay a lot easier, as my portuguese is terrible. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I very much enjoyed just chilling out in the garden and watching the stars and the birds (toucans and hummingbirds and parrotlets! I couldn't believe it, it was like paradise.) Breakfast was delicious, a lot of things were homemade and the day I went to climb Pedra do Bau and left early, they packed me my breakfast to take with me, including a flask of coffee. I would highly recommend this place to everyone - I hope to be back some day! Thank you so much for everything, muito obrigada!
