The stay was simply amazing!! I have been to santo stephano di sessano multiple times. But this stay is really good. I’ll highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this amazing place. The breakfast was delicious with fresh local produce. I will be surely visiting again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

“slighly overrated in my opinion”
The best part of our stay, as we have been during winter, is that the appartment has underfloor heating, therefore we were not feeling cold despite very low tempertaure outside. I have a feeling that this place is most enjoyed during summer season. Beautiful position and view outside.

The owner was very kind, the location is well maintained, the breakfast was really good and every day replaced for more. Great location to explore Gran Sasso. I would happily be back and recommend this place to friends.

“Very nice place, just know its not right in the old town.”
The place was very nice and the host was great. We were a bit disappointed with the location as the ad mislead us to believe it was located right in the old town. It wasn't far from it but still we were disappointed. But the condition of the place and the host made up for it.

“Pittoresque. Great View starting Well in the morning”
Very original. Good Equipment for Easy Cooking. Helpful since most Restaurants were closed off season. Easy self check-in. We could leave the car until we finished our hike. Pittoresque Village Stefano di sessanio.

“A hidden gem up in the mountains of Abruzzo.”
This property has a unique location just at a stone's throw from the historical center of the charming village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. It was a very easy task to find the spot upon our arrival. The communication with the owners was really smooth and easy. They could also speak with us in English, which was a nice surprise in that quite remote location in Italy. In addition, there were provided fresh supplies for breakfast daily (home-made pastry, bread, yogurt, fruits, ...) at a sufficient amount for the whole group (4 people). Our apartment was in an awesome-looking stone building, yet with all the normally expected facilities and equipment.

“A good place as a base to explore Campo Imperatore and the surrounding mountains and villages.”
The property is a renovated farm. We had a living room/ kitchen and good bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and warm, the breakfast nice with home made yoghurt and cakes. The bedroom was in the loft with rather steep stairs. This was fine for us but could be a problem for less agile people, especially if they need to get down to the bathroom at night. The welcome was friendly, parking on site great. Santo Stefano di Sessanio a great little place to enjoy is right next door.

The room and the cleanliness are realy exceptional. The owner is very friendly and very helpful nice person. Everything was just great. The heating is perfect in the room and so in the bathroom. The breakfast a bit poor, just sweeties and yogurt, both I dont eat. But, actualy, the room was so great, beatifully designed, comfortable and clean, that everithing else just does not realy matter. The village is charming! Very recommended!
