Very relaxing atmosphere, comfortable bed and yummy food

Great place to stay and unwind with good food and relaxing music.

This place is located slightly outside the main area. It takes about a 30-minute walk to the nearest 7-11. The property is also a restaurant, and we had dinner here one night—the food was delicious. The breakfast they provided was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place for people who prefer to stay away from busy and crowded areas. The owner helped us book the whale shark watching activity in advance, so we didn’t need to wake up early or wait in line. It was definitely worth it. The tuk-tuk driver arranged by the owner was also very kind (additional fee required). He waited for us after the whale shark activity and then took us to the port to catch our boat. It was a wonderful experience and a great trip overall.

“Definitely worth staying here!”

We loved everything! Eduardo and Melba were so welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room had everything we needed. The AC kept us cool and was very quiet. We had breakfast and dinner at Melba’s every day and the food was amazing. We enjoyed having the balcony space in the evening to have drinks and play cards. Eduardo arranged many taxis for us including to go to Moalboal and Oslob at very reasonable prices. The taxi driver Kevin knew all the locals so got us in to see the whale sharks first thing in the morning before we left which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing few days away from the chaos of other places in Cebu

“Perfection”

This is a small homestay where you leave a little bit of your heart behind when you go. Everything here is just perfect for relaxing and enjoying a beautiful meal (or 7) with a family that cares about making your stay enjoyable. The room was extremely comfortable and the location is superb with the waves lapping the perimeter as you enjoy the best food in Oslob. I can’t fault it.

“Tropical Paradise I Didn’t Want to Leave”

The Accommodations Our stay was absolutely perfect. We booked a 2-room suite that was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Having a private balcony was a huge plus—it was the ideal spot to relax and take in the surroundings. The Atmosphere & Grounds The residence itself is enchanting. It is uniquely built around massive, lovely trees that provide a natural canopy over the shoreline. The architecture blends perfectly with nature, creating a peaceful, shaded oasis. Dining & Food The on-site restaurant is exceptional. The flavors were fantastic, and they served rich, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was so convenient (and tasty) that we rarely felt the need to eat anywhere else. Location & Sea Life If you love the water, this location is unbeatable: Instant Access: Only 5 steps from the property to the shoreline. The Sea: A short, 200m walk through shallow seagrass leads you to the open sea. Snorkeling: We saw beautiful corals, plenty of fish, and even turtles! The Host A special thanks to Eduardo. He is a wonderful host—calm, resourceful, and incredibly supportive. Whatever we needed, he was there to help with a smile. Summary: This place is a gem. Between the trees, the sea life, and the hospitality, we truly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended

The staff was nice and willing to accommodate us with an early breakfast, the food was very good. The entire accommodation was clean, the bed was comfortable, parking is possible here. There is a treehouse for a couple where you can enjoy a romantic dinner.

If I knew it was such a good place, I would stay longer. Unfortunately I had a flight booked earlier, so we were not able to stay longer. The location is beautiful, nature around, a small reef to snorkel. The facilities are cute and nice. The kitchen is just perfect. The hosts are super-kind and welcoming, the service people are professional and nice. We had a great experience staying there.

Lovely location away from main road, very homely feel, as soon as I arrived I felt relaxed. Melba, Eduardo + their wonderful staff were so helpful and kind. Loved the “Tree House” spot for breakfast. “Delicate cuisine”

The accommodation was very pleasant, located in a quiet area away from the main road. The included breakfast exceeded all expectations — each morning we received a large plate of fresh fruit. A jug of water was always served with every meal. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. You could enjoy your meal on a raised platform built in a tree above the ocean waves. The hosts were very friendly. The room had its own spacious terrace. Staying here was a great decision! The accommodation had its own small private beach. During high tide, it was good for snorkeling, although you need to go further out into the sea to reach deeper water.

Convenient location, professional, helpful and friendly staff, tasty food, idyllic view, convivial vibe... What would one want more? As for the location, it gives easy access to Sumilon island, Oslob (if you plan to go for a whale-shark activity) and other places that I didn't have time to visit. If you don't plan to lay over in the area, I recommend at least trying the restaurant. Salamat !
