MDF Beach Resort is situated along the coastline of Barangay Samboan Bato South of Cebu, offering peaceful and comfy accommodation with free WiFi access in the guestrooms. We had such an excellent stay at MDF that we extended another night! The cottages are right on the sea front, and you can hear the waves crashing 24/7, some even splashing onto our window! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. We could get water refills - 1 litre for 10 pesos and boiling water for our Tea for 5 pesos. You could choose to eat at the resort or there some nice little restaurants only a few minutes walk away as well. The location was really handy right on the ceres bus route, so the driver dropped us off right at the front gates! Everything was really clean and the shared toilet was always fully stocked with toilet paper and soap.... the shower even had hot water, which was such a treat for us!! There are stairs that lead right into the ocean from the resort for swimming and snorkelling. The area right outside the resort is a bit rocky and sandy. The best snorkelling is about a 5 minute swim right from the stairs. This area is absolutely full of colourful & diverse soft & hard corals. We saw lots of fish, some nudibranch, and even a turtle while snorkelling!

“Peaceful”
Great location and great staff. Has bikes for rent and the owner knows all the good spots! The food is also very good and the coffee was solid! Can swim directly outside the room and enjoy the ocean sounds at night.

The stuff was amazing. Especially the owner. They gave us a lot off tips what to do there. They have a restaurant there. You can rent a motorbike. The view from the windonw was perfect for sunset watching.
