Constructive feedback was ignored What disappointed me most was the reaction to constructive feedback. During my stay I dealt with maintenance issues almost every day while paying full price, and I communicated politely and patiently the entire time. Instead of feeling like a guest on vacation I felt like I was helping manage repairs. When I finally expressed that I was uncomfortable with the situation, the owner simply told me that if I did not feel comfortable I should leave and find another place. That is honestly the last thing you expect to hear from someone in hospitality. There were also many small details missing that are normal in Santa Teresa. No basic items like salt and pepper in the kitchen, no welcome water in the fridge, no small touches that make guests feel welcome. Other places in the area clearly care much more about the guest experience. I will attach screenshots of the communication to show how politely and constructively I tried to address the issues. Unfortunately the concerns were not taken seriously.

The location was excellent! Right across from the main section of the beach. Also liked that the rooms were cleaned every day because it gets sandy quickly. + they offered the cheapest surf lessons for two people

“The Ideal Surf and Relaxation Getaway”

We absolutely loved this place. It is just a one minute walk from the beach, which is one of the best surfing beaches in the area, and about a five to ten minute walk to some great restaurants and bars. The property’s swimming pool is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. We also used the spa, which was definitely worth it. It was our first time trying an ice bath, but the staff guided us through it wonderfully. I highly recommend doing this while staying here. The whole family that runs the property is incredibly friendly and always happy to help with anything. The place is spotless, the kitchen has everything you need, and you can rent surfboards on site. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Santa Teresa!

We can start by thanking the staff for the upgrade as they had availability. We booked a room and ended up with a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. There was daily cleaning of the apartment and change of towels. Very well equipped kitchen. The amenities were great, incredible pool and the outdoor gym (even though some of the equipment is a bit rusty) is really relaxing and great for a workout. Staff is just incredible, really kind and always available for anything you need!

Juan is a nice host, very attentive and friendly. The location of the lodge is great, just a 2 min walk from the beach. The common areas and nice too.

Great location on the Santa Teresa main road, nice garden setting and scenery, surf vibe, friendly and flexible staff! Guard at night so very secure.

The pool was amazing. You could have a great relax moment. The place attracts nice people so great atmosphere. Also the gym area was nice, with some equipment to do a small work out. Close to the beach and some places to eat. Would definitely recommend

The pool and gym were lovely, and the staff were very friendly. They also let us park our car on site which was good. It was a really great shared kitchen and we made friends with our neighbour. It is right opposite ani’s which is a delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch spot.
