“Malpais nice cabana”
We had 3 nights in Casa Oueste, an independent cabana isolated from the main house. We had our own kitchen, oven, fridge, bathroom and a large balcony. We had a fan as well as air conditioning. The pool was refreshing at midday. Inside 200 hundred meters, you have restaurant, small pub and a small mercado as well. You can go watch the sunset within 10 minutes walking. Mika and Simon were sweet and helpful.

“Super nice and quiet place in Mal Pais. Close to Santa Teresa!”
Wonderful stay in a quiet and beautiful part of Mal Pais, yet close enough to the main road for easy access to Santa Teresa by scooter, ATV, or bike. The rooms were super clean with daily cleaning, and the staff were incredibly friendly. There’s a great pizzeria just up the road, a stable right next door, and a lovely new pool that’s perfect for relaxing. The atmosphere is ideal for yoga or meditation. Overall, a fantastic experience- I highly recommend it and would definitely come back.

Cuatro Vientos is an amazing place to stay for anyone who is seeking for a relaxing, quiet and clean accommodation with a warm atmosphere. My host Yam, made sure you get whatever you need - rentals, yoga classes, shuttles. Within a blink she has it sorted and arranged for you. Would absolute recommend this accommodation.

“Lovely stay”
Great little place if you’re looking to stay somewhere in MalPais/SantaTeresa area. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen and the room was comfortable. The staff were amazing and gave us lots of recommendations! Would recommend!

“Great quiet place to spend some time in Santa Teresa”
Cuatro vientos are lodges with everything you need. Nothing fancy, but nothing missing. They are little house cabin with kitchen, bathroom, comfy bed and a eating table. They are 1 or 2km from Santa Teresa which I like as Santa Teresa is way more busier. The check in is smooth and yam was always helpful and answering fast to any requests you would have.

Beautiful place to stay. Very nice and clean rooms, with nice dining areas and a complete kitchen (incl freezer, fridge, oil, coffee, coffee machine, cutlery, etc). Staff was friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend.

Nice and quiet accommodation on a 10 minute drive from Santa Teresa. Rooms were very good and we liked the shared kitchen/living room/garden. The people were very helpfull and helped with all our questions . Would recommend it to everyone!

This place was amazing, big open kitchen with dining room, clean and comfortable room and clean bathroom, very good location close to Mal Pais beach, free parking, outdoor shower and clothes rack convenient for after surf. We loved it and cannot recommend it enough.

“Clean and relax stay”
Best kitchen from all our stays in Costa Rica: super clean and organized. The place is just outside the city center, what makes it the perfect lodge to relax. Compared to other hostels there’s no hard music, which we really liked because this means you can hear hawling monkeys (they live in a tree close by) or put on your own music or play a game from the game table. It’s a nice place to meet other travelers. The lodges also got a nice couch to relax, hot shower, clean and big rooms and an amazing yoga deck which you can use all day. We hope to come back one day!
