From the moment we arrived at The Place Mar Mediterrania Adults Only Hotel, we were truly impressed by the outstanding service. The staff are the heart of this hotel, they were consistently attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond by surprising her with a lovely gift of a bottle of drink and a delicious cake delivered to our room. This thoughtful gesture made our visit extra special and memorable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Spa, which was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The breakfast was very well organized, offering a great selection, and the chef preparing eggs was not only skilled but also incredibly polite and cheerful, adding a positive start to our mornings. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to everyone at The Place Mar Mediterrania for making our stay so wonderful! We all really enjoyed our time and will be back :)

“Amazing Reception Staff & Great Hotel in General.”

The room was a great size, plenty of space, the balcony was a good size too, our balcony faced the beach/sea as well which was lovely. The hotel and room were very clean, the decor was also simple, clean but stylish at the same time. What made our stay extra special were the reception staff, all of which were nothing short of amazing! They went above and beyond to help me go the extra mile for my partner's birthday. We got good advice from the receptionist regarding the transport that is available in Santa Susanna (Train station was 10 min walk) and we were informed that the trains were free for the month! The spa facilities in the hotel were nice, small but very clean and nice - we utilised these facilities everyday with ease by booking time slots. I noticed other's mentioning the construction of the new hotel next door but we didn't find this annoying or an issue, their construction work begins and ends at a reasonable time every day. The pool area has music playing which then dulled down the construction noises, it just wasn't an issue for us at all. The food in the hotel were great, great choice available. Location of the hotel is good as well, it's quiet but you're a short walk away from restaurants and some bars etc. I really couldn't fault this place, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again. - Thank you to all hotel staff :-)

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, as it is close to the train station, making it very convenient for travel. It is also near supermarkets and restaurants, which made everything easily accessible. One of the highlights of the hotel is its private beach, which is perfect for relaxing. The beach view from my room was beautiful, and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable—ideal for families or groups of friends. The food was fantastic throughout my stay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all offered a great variety and were delicious. I also really enjoyed the spa and the outdoor pool, both of which were clean and relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for families and groups of friends looking for a comfortable stay with great amenities and a lovely beachside experience.

Everything was spot on, from the beautifully clean rooms and general areas and the incredibly attentive staff (Alex on the front desk was great) The pool area was lovely and was kept clean and tidy. Lovely spa facilities. There was delicious breakfast and dinner options for our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking quality and quality service.

Generally it is a nice holiday hotel. I stayed there for business due to the proximity of the meeting. Really good breakfast if you compare to other Spanish hotels.

What really stood out was how accommodating they were nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They truly made me feel valued as a guest, which made the whole experience even more special. “One of my favorite summer destinations”

I often come to Alegria Mar Mediterrania, especially for the bachata festivals taking place not far away. The staff is just amazing, helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated few steps away from the beach. Enjoying the sun on the balcony is great. The breakfast and dinner buffets (I have not tried lunch) are varied and tasty. I have only good memories of the place. I will be back :)

“Rude staff.”

Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing, primarily due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff. From the moment we walked in, instead of a warm welcome, a staff member abruptly emerged from the back and shushed us with hand gestures, setting a negative tone for our stay. Throughout our visit, we were repeatedly told to be quiet, even when speaking at normal volumes. The situation escalated when another guest became confrontational with us in the spa area. We reported the incident to management, expecting support or at least an apology, but were met with indifference and the dismissive response: "What do you want us to do about it?" At no point did anyone take responsibility or offer any form of apology, making us feel unwelcome and ignored.
