“Disgusting cash grab”

This is little more than a cynical cash grab by dangerous individuals. The hotel is situated on a main road is extremely noisy. The entrance is opposite a brothel and is filthy it is through a half run down launderette, kitchen and squat all rolled into one. I was forced to wait in a nearby bar for an hour before being allowed to check in. It is impossible to gain access to the property without being let in by a member of staff even once checked in as you are not provided with a front door key. The staff also pressure you to come back early so they can go to sleep. Once inside the rooms feel grotty and have no windows. They only have mesh netting to keep insects out. There is no AC. I was kept awake all night by members of staff playing music out loud on speakers and awoken before sunrise by loud trucks. Upon leaving, the staff pretended to be unable to accept card and attempted to extort additional cash from me. They were extremely rude and swore at me in Spanish. After I payed the booking.com agreed price I received a threatening and insulting message from the hotel owner. I left the hotel with a bad taste in my mouth from the lies threats and insults.

“Great staff, no windows”

Very friendly and helpful stuff! Even though they didn't speak much English, they tried very hard. We were able to get our clothes washed there. They offered us to book two places on the bus shuttle to the airport. Good location and comfortable beds.

The welcoming by the owners was like coming home. I arrived very early and they let me move into the room. Big room with bathroom en suite . Plenty of towels , TV and shelving . Water, coffee, tea and biscuits on offer . They are the kindest people ever . Guests are allowed to use the kitchen . It’s very handy as the place has a laundry . For a small sum the clothes are washed as you go about on your sightseeing . Outside space to sit.

Nice hotel, not far from the center. Not so easy to find the door, but the lady was very nice. It is part of a laundry. Room is big enough and it is a very quiet place. Really a nice place to stay.

Great value for money. Very likable owners. Great location. Owners also run laundry business, so that’s convenient if you need to wash clothes.

The service was absolutely amazing and the rooms were good, clean and spacious. The bathrooms were also clean with nice big showers. It also close by flores city.

Staffs are friendly and nice location. Just walking distance to the island. Nice breakfast with low price. Owner is very helpful. Laundry is provided with minimum charges

I didn't stay. I preferred to pay a bit more and to sleep at a place which does provide basic needs for guests!

“Lovely people, cheap and efficient laundry, great location”

This was a lovely little place, the rooms are on top of a laundry place and they did our washing for us. The rooms were nice and spacious. The staff were the loveliest people ever, the kindest couple, super chatty and helpful (even through my broken Spanish/their broken English). They bought us ice each day for our room. They even got up at 4am to make sure we got our bus to Tikal ok. Location is fab, walking distance to Flores island and super close to a big mall if you need anything

Very welcoming hosts. They even gave me a ride to the airport at 6 am.

Very close to a big shopping centre and the bridge that goes to the famous island. A variety of shops and restaurants nearby. Fairly large room and nice decoration. Really warm, friendly and incredibly helpful family, that speak English. I can't stress enough how much they helped me, not just while I was staying with them, but even after. They also helped me with my travelling arrangements after I left their accommodation. Thank you so much, to the whole family. 🤗 They offered me the use of their kitchen. Conveniently, they also run Laundry "Pattytos", so you can get your clothes washed there too, for a reasonable price. They cleaned my socks better than any other laundry that I used on my extensive travels. Comparatively cheap. Good lighting. Plenty of electrical sockets, including some near the bed. Bedside lamp. Fan included.

“Nice Location with a nice Hostess”

The owner was very nice and helped me with my every question, also suggesting buses and in general giving me advice for my stay in Flores. My room was declared as a bed in a dorm, but was actually a privat room with a shared bathroom nearby. The Location is 5 to 10 minutes away (by foot) from the Island of Flores, several small Stores as well as a Mall with an atm is close by
