“Boutique hotel is bit of a stretch on words!”

Boutique hotel is a bit of a stretch, it’s a roadside building on busy motorway with parking in huge parking lot which is not secure and used by many people entering petrol station, cafeteria and lorry park, which also means many many people, so don’t leave anything in your car as less than savoury people always frequent these lorry parks! When you arrive it’s all locked up and you call a number on window, they don’t come to you but they tell you where to come to them! To get your room card Rooms are nice enough, newly done, but you get lots of traffic noise You can’t eat in local restaurant across the car park till 20.30, kitchen closed until then. Which is not ideal if been driving all day and unlikely anyone else ever stays longer than 1 night just passing through, junior suite is waste of time over £100 pounds for roadside room is a bit strong, but call it Boutique and you can try!

“Unfortunately not a place I would recommend”

The room was newly refurbished and clean, quite a pleasant room, small but ok for one night. Considering the amount of lorries, it was reasonably quiet overnight. Slept ok. Ate in the cafe in the evening, which was ok, but was not allowed to take the dog, it was very hot outside and not comfortable to sit outside, so I had to take the dog back to the room.

Convenient stopover just off the motorway in a services with cafeteria. Comfortable bed, good shower,air conditioner and dog friendly. Clean modern room with a large communal terrace.

Great stop on the road! Very clean and fresh room, good space. Extra plus for AC!! Check-In possible 24/7. Restaurant and café, we had a basic but good dinner. Dogfriendly, good dogwalking possibilities close by.

Convenient stop off on our journey south. Good value and excellent evening menu del dia.

“Sound proofing advertised was ineffective. This is a trucker park. Engines running all night.”

No staff available- check in and reception at garage shop 50 meters away, walking over trucker park. No staff in the building. This is a small building in the center of a trucker park. Trucks very close to room with engines running at night, all night. Men walking around their vehicles outside chatting. Sound proofing ineffective even with windows closed and blinds down. Could hear guest in next room moving about, so although quiet not that quiet. The location for me was very wrong, next to highway and surrounded by trucks. Probably suitable for a truck driver wanting a room for the night, the beds are small, the room is small, the shower room tiny.

The room was very nice but basic no hair dryer. It was carnaval day so restaurant was busy and noisy also difficult to communicate with staff due to language problem.

Great rooms, shower lovely, bed perfect, big. Food and drink in the cafe when you wanted. Lots of walks for the dog. Easy access to m/way.

The room was modern and clean. I chose a larger than standard room and I am glad I did as it was still small. The staff at the petrol station where you check in and out were friendly and helpful.
