My initial recommendation: -Check your route or call Rodolfo before going there -Take your insect repellent because when you go to the tour the mosquitos will be all over you. (Nothing to worry inside the house) -Take with you comfortable trekking shoes or rubber boots -Please, you have to reserve for at least 5 to 10 days so that you know all the beautiful places that are nearby. Our experience was incredible, we made the mistake of taking the longest route and even worse doing it at night. The fog and rain were at their peak so we couldn´t see anything by the time we made it to the finca it was almost midnight. We were beaten and to worsen the situation booking had not yet recognized them as hosts. However, it already appeared in the app so they had not received the notification of the reservation so when we called them at midnight and told them that we were outside and we had a reservation they were perplexed, and even so they let us in. Nazareth prepared our room at the speed of light so we could rest. The room was very cozy and comfortable, it gave you a feeling of peace which let us rest immediately, and the following day we were like new. I can tell they have made the place a home. You feel so much peace, very secure and welcomed as if it was your own safe place in the world. Nazareth and Rodolfo were up very early already preparing breakfast which was delicious and we shared together at the table laughing and getting to know each other (they are so lovely that it is a must for us to come back).. Then Rodolfo took us on an informative tour within the finca about bamboo, he showed us all the varieties that they have there and how they work with it. They also have a small farm with bees that are not poisonous but produce honey that is medicinal. He showed us how he built their colonies and has the entire property full of flowers and fruit trees making it a paradise for the bees and birds and many other insects I could say much more but you have to go and experi
