“Charming little place in the peaceful countryside”

Welcoming hosts, beautiful building and location and room was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, offering advice on where to eat in Olot and served breakfast for us slightly earlier than usual because we had an early flight. We wish that we could have stayed longer, and would recommend staying more than one night to make the most of it!

It's the best allotment I have ever been. Excellent stuff, food of Michelín stars and everything for very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it. It's a "must be" place

The location is great, next to the volcanic natural park. The building is a historic site itself. The food was excellent. The owners are a fabulous couple, so helpfull; the care they put on their business is seen on the attention to the details.

Beautiful BnB in fantastic setting. Wonderful care from Goretti and Roy who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Absolutely delicious breakfasts and we ate a wonderful evening meal. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

“An idyllic stay in a very unique location!”

What an incredible stay! We were in Spain for a wedding, so there was a group of us staying at La Rectoria. We could not have been looked after any better than we were. A fantastic and quite beautiful location nestled in the countryside - morning spent catching up over eggs (and delicious home made sponge), bathing in the sun by the pool, and sundowners in the courtyard. Cannot thank our hosts enough, we were so well looked after!

Breakfast was delicious - fresh orange juice and espresso coffee, homemade jams, cold cuts/cheese and eggs! Roy and Goretti make a great team looking after their guests, it was a very homey stay in a lovely setting and right on the Via Verdes which makes for easy access for cycling or walking with lots of beautiful nature nearby. We were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely time.

Everything about the Rectoria was superb, the food was amazing and the location was beautiful, plus the hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

Very calming place, plenty of options for hiking and cycling around, very tasty dinners for reasonable price, good selection of whiskey and fireplace in the cosy room downstairs for resting after active day outdoors. I would 100% return there if I am ever in this region again!

We really loved our 3 night stay here and look forward to visiting again soon. A beautiful old building in a wonderful countryside location directly beside a cycle and walking route. Our bedroom was lovely, it was spacious and absolutely spotless - we slept well. A couple of snug rooms available to relax in and one with a wood burning stove which was perfect for pre dinner drinks. Lovely gardens to sit in and a swimming pool. We had dinner here on 2 of the nights and it was fantastic - Roy seems to be a very accomplished chef. Roy and Goretti the owners make an excellent team and offer a high level of hospitality - felt like we were staying with old friends, they’re both so lovely, really friendly and can’t do enough to help you have a great time. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
