It was quiet. Once we got the hang of the public transport to the Valldoreix station & the V2 bus to the B&B, it was good. Make sure you’re sorted with that before attempting to travel there with all your luggage.

Pleasant, well-maintained location in the hills west of Barcelona. B&B Inés is located in Valldoreix, an autonomous community in the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallès. Thanks to the quiet neighborhood, parking on the street in front of the domain is no problem. We chose this stay to discover new places in the inland of Catalonia. Sant Cugat del Vallès also has interesting tourist attractions such as some modernist buildings, a Benedictine abbey, Casa Museu Cal Gerrer (=Marilyn Monroe museum), Mercantic (=a big but cozy vintage sales place, the only Spanish comic museum, many parks and excellent restaurants. It's a pity that the name B&B Inés no longer fully describes what you get, as breakfast has no longer been available since March 2024. The friendly Inés gave us some tips for shopping, which is best done by car or public transport because of the distances and steep streets. Nevertheless with the spacious communal dining room and fridge on site some options for breakfast were possible. The airy communal living area also offers additional opportunities for relaxation. Because of the rather thin walls you can regularly hear doors opening and closing, as well as the running water in the water pipe of the adjacent room when someone takes a refreshing shower. We did not find this disturbing, but guests who expect low-noise rooms may be somewhat upset by this. The lack of a reception made our check-in less smooth because we had not received the promised codes by email. After telephone contact in Spanish, this problem was quickly resolved. We stayed there for a full week and enjoyed a nice holiday at an affordable price.

It's a really really nice place with amazing view, and the terrace is nice to chill and do some extra works. Very quiet neighborhood and nice host that lend me a steamer for my clothes and save my forgoten hat for me to pick up.

Hi I suggests to everyone the property is located outside te Barcelona . In the night or evening you can’t enjoy in barcelona because for comeback there is no transport. The available transport is paid instead of city pass and it’s for half distance rest on your foot. There is no person for security and guiding. Even for travelling you should take texi around 50+ euro one side. It’s batter to take double expensive hotel near city center. It was my worst experience.
