Overview
A recently renovated campground in Sansais and within 13 km of Niort Train Station, Camping L'îlot du Chail has pool with a view, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. “Great place but quite noisy (and spider-y)”
The pool is clean and well supervised, with many water games, perfect for children. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. There is a snack/bar on site so there's no need to go to town for food. The location is beautiful.

“Excellent location & value. We'll be back, I'm sure but may be in a tent with a loo this time.”
Great facilities, fantastic rural location but within walking distance of village & river side restaurant. Close to Niort & surrounding towns. Handy Super-U a few miles away & coast an hour by road. We stayed in a 5-berth static tent with a great covered balcony together with around another 60 classic Citroen cars.

Great location; quiet place with a lot of free to walk areas around; big space around tents, so neighbours aren't annoying you; pet friendly; in a tent there is everything you need to feel comfortable.

“Dreadful”
The unit was filthy,damp an almost uninhabitable ! Dark ,dismal and although I had booked for two nights I quit after one. I felt misled by previous ratings. Your company should take it off your website !

“All is not what it seems”
Convenient for local tourist area around the Marais Poitevent Cabin was well equipped for a posh tent with fridge freezer cooking facilities etc. These facilities were very clean and well maintained ….. maybe fairly new.
