Great host Madame Fa! She's part of the Mon community escaped from Myanmar and living between the hammer of that country and the anvil of Thailand that little do to help these refugees. Please help homestays like this grow and you'll get a much deeper experience than the rest!!!

The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, and gave us lot of information and tips to visit the area. You really feel at home. The room and public areas are comfortable. The breakfast offers was delicious.

This it is a very nice place to stay. Fa and her mother sister and daughter are really nice and really helpful. Jaba and Banana the dogs are lovely .It’s a little bit out of town but only a short motorbike taxi ride so very easy to get to.

Thank you so much for hosting me, for cooking local food, and most importantly for explaining me your story, from Myanmar to Sangkhla. This is exactly what a homestay should be : casual chatting with the host, while sharing meals and stories. The facilities are basic, the house is cute, the host speaks very good English. And Sangkhlaburi is the best place to relax in Thailand ! I really fell in love with this place !

The owner is super friendly and helpful! The accommodation is simple and home stay-like. It is in good walking distance from the bus station and to the wooden-bridge etc. Close to Grandma's Home is a vegetarian restaurant which is part of Baan Unrak foundation. Also the owner can give you great recommendations where to eat :)

The owner is really lovely, likes to chat. She served us delicious traditional breakfast (altough portion not too big). Good location 15 min from the bridge. Make sure to check amazing vegetarian restaurant next door if you stay here!

If you would like to try a real homestay, this is what you are looking for! :-) Nice garden, basic room, reasonable price for one night with delicious breakfast!

“Dissapointed”

There wasn't anybody at the adress when we arrived and nobody took the telephone. We had to book another hotel. Monty lost.

The owner is absolutely amazing, she was super friendly, spent time with us, and gave us a ton of information about where to visit, etc. She also packed me a nice breakfast.

“Relaxing and rural”

This is a quiet family home, with a lush garden, tasty breakfasts and two friendly dogs. A few minutes walk to the wooden Mon Bridge. Fa is the most amiable host, and really makes Grandma's a special place to stay. The accommodation is simple but comfortable. I'd happily come here again, it's like staying with a friend.
