The staffs were lovely. Jojo was very helpful. It’s a very basic hotel, I’d call it a backpacker’s place rather than a hotel.

“I will be better prepared on my next trip to Sandakan and stay at Mark's Lodge.”
Located closeby - about 1.2km - to my place of work visit. Excellent location. Air cond was working after 10 - 15 minutes. Hot water was working after 5 - 10 minutes. Pleasant enough for a work stay! Despite whatever the case, Mark's Lodge is secure and I feel safe, and this is the most important factor in my decision.

“Not value for money because uncomfortable smell”
Non smoking room smells cigarette. Feels headache when waking up in the morning.
