“Beautiful setting for a wonderful evening”

Absolutely beautiful setting around the lake. Room was wonderful and so was the food at the restaurant. Sadly, we were using this as an overnight stopover, so didn’t get to experience all the beauty and tranquility it was offering. It was very close to the Orangutan Sanctuary and the Rainforest Discovery Centre.

“Beautiful stay in Sepilok”

We loved it here!! So close (5 min walk) to orangutan and sun bear centres. For anything else it was super easy to get a Grab taxi or reception offer to get you a driver. Staff were so lovely, food and drinks were great. Room and surroundings were beautiful. We were able to sit outside our lodge and watch monkeys, birds, and otters. Would 100% recommend to stay here for a trip to Sepilok.

“Wonderful stay in the heart of nature.”

Fabulous location, 5 mins walk from the orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries, and walkable, or quick grab ride, to the RDC. Set around a pond with fish and birds. The trees around the hotel were full of wildlife and it was lovely to sit with a cool drink and relax. The food was good and beautifully presented and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Earplugs might be a good idea if you're a light sleeper as the frogs are incredibly loud 😄

Great location to the orangutan sanctuary and sun bear centre- less than 5 minutes walk. We also walked to the rainforest Discovery centre from here- less than 20 minutes. Woke up to monkeys on the roof, plus saw hornbills and orangutans in the grounds.

Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Sepilok Nature Lodge - an ideal base for visiting the Orangutan and Sun Bear rehabilitation centres, which are only 5 minutes walk away. The chalets are beautifully located, clean and spacious. The bar/restaurant is open most of the day and offers a good selection of food and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. Spotting an orangutan in the tree above the restaurant was the icing on the cake! All in all we would thoroughly recommend.

“Magical”

Brilliant spot right next to the Orangutan Rehabilitation centre. Lovely grounds and the rooms are like tree houses blending beautifully with the setting by the lake Lots of lounging space Visiting Orangutans! Food is great if you stick to Malaysian food. The European stuff looked a bit hit and miss - but you aren’t there to eat European food.

Me and my son stayed in lodges next door to one another. They were absolutely gorgeous. I think we were expecting to rough it given we were on the edge of the jungle but we were so impressed. The lodges were big, lovely bed, air conditioning, large bathroom, his n hers sink. There was also a bath, which I didn't use. Location was perfect. We were 5 minutes walk from the sun bears and orangutans. A day ticket for both enabled us to go in and out. Cocktails at the Lodge were amazing and the people who worked there were lovely.

Nice just right net to the rehabalitation centre of the oerang oetans. We saw them on the resort. But stole a bag from people....
