Lovely hotel . We arrived late for dinner on our bikes . We were soaked to the skin . We were worried we might not get fed .Everyone so nice and welcoming . Don't miss dinner it was excellent . Would highly recommend

Small boutique type hotel run by a friendly wine family. Rooms were fine with good beds. Good restaurant (you must reserve a table) and good breakfast. Parking around the corner. We had bikes with us that were stored in a garage. You must visit their excellent wine tasting center nearby in this charming village.

Nice comfortable rooms, beautiful view on the vineyards. And the village Chavignol is magical! The restaurant was decent and had a very nice terrace.

We had dinner in the gourmet restaurant attached to the hotel. Each of the 5 courses was excellent and beautifully prepared, thoroughly professional and friendly. A genial atmosphere. The restaurant was full, (book in advance). Lovely to find a restaurant of such a high standard is a small village. The hotel room was equally good and comfortable. We had a large room, with fridge and kettle.

“A Memorable Stay”

This is a unique hotel in a tiny village but with big city standards of professionalism and presentation. We were well greeted at check-in and our room was spacious and light. It was also very quiet as it is off main roads with minimal traffic. The restaurant is exceptional: we ate very well and service is of a very high standard. As this is in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, it was no surprise to find an outstanding wine list and a sommelier who knows his way round it. Plenty of opportunities close by to sample the local wines. Our stroll round the village after dinner revealed its picture-postcard beauty nestling in the vineyards. A memorable stay.

Friendly staff, quick response for my inquiries which made me relieved. Great food together with their related fine Sancerre wine selections. Visited their winery, Famille Bourgeois, next morning, that’s also a great experience. Very warm-hearted welcome.
