“Loved it!”
This villa was perfect for us. Don’t be put off with the fact that it’s a little way out from Alicante. You don’t need a car where you are located. It’s in a really lovely, quiet, safe area, well lit at night with street lamps. The villa was a 15-20min taxi ride from the airport. Walked straight out of the airport into the taxi rank and cost 35 euros for a family of 5. There’s a good supermarket, a big outlet shopping centre with restaurants and the tram (Santa Isabel) all a 10 min walk from the villa. Perfect location! The villa is huge and would easily accommodate 2 families. The outside area was big with lots of seating area. The Villa was clean and tidy, had a few essential cooking / drink items. There was also big bottles of shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms which was really handy. Lots of bath towels and beach towels in the villa. Even though we were told it was a heated pool I was sceptical how warm it would be in February. But it was really warm… the kids loved it and spent hours in it, there was a few pool toys to use as well which was great. We didn’t use the BBQ / sauna area so couldn’t comment on that. Alicante and the surrounding areas were super easy to access from the tram, which was brilliant for us as we didn’t want the faff of a hire car. Alicante on the tram was a 25 minute journey and was only 7 euros for a family of 5 one way (you buy the tickets on the tram). Great communication from the host/owner about all questions we had and we requested a slightly later check out time as we had kids and a later flight and they accommodated us! If visiting Alicante we would highly recommend this villa…. Perfect!
