Loved the location, within the business/hotel district. Great for my needs personally. The historic part of city is easily reached on Bus route 52. Clean, well run hostel.

The staff were welcoming and nice. The house /apartment is spacious and decently equipped, with both indoor and outdoor chillout areas.

This youth hostel is far from the city center. When checking out, I was asked to pay 5 dollars for using the kitchen. I have traveled to 50 countries, and this is the first time I have encountered such a requirement. After checking in, I was asked to pack my luggage and change rooms the next day because they wanted to convert the rooms on the first floor into a single room for others to move in. It felt very disrespectful.

“Good value for money, out of the city centre”

Good price, lots of places close by to get food (restaurants and supermarkets), very close to the bus stop, friendly staff running the desk, free water, information on bus routes, maps of El Salvador, common living room, kitchen and terrace.

Spent my last two days in San Salvador at this hostel in the shared dorm. The room was spacious and also with its own large bathroom. In the hallway just outside, you have lockers to store your valuables (you need your own padlock). Decent size communal area both inside and outside on a patio. Didn't use the kitchen other than the fridge, but it was easy to cook your own food if you wanted. Everything was also very clean. The host/staff was also really friendly. Area was really nice with a lot of restaurants and bars close by as well as some smaller mini-marts. 20 min walk to the shopping area with Super Selectos++. Another 20 min walking you in the heart of Zona Rosa with even more restaurants and bars. Overall, I really liked this hostel.

Good hostel, but people were only passing here, no real hostel or travellers vibe, not a social place

Good location. Walking distance to nice restaurants, El Arbol de Dios, etc, though you will need an Uber or driver (not hugely expensive) for further afield. Spacious. I had a private room which had a lot of space. Patio and living room is spacious. Staff generally helpful - put me in touch with good driver. I stayed in private room (3 beds) for $50 a night. Btw - no reason to worry about safety or any of that stuff.
