“Excellent refuge truly! And great place to stay and retreat from the city.”
Great reception by owner. Met us in the night during rain and welcomed us in. Breakfast was homemade and delicious.

“Cozy hotel with awesome breakfast”
Joe’s treatment was exceptional, he was welcoming and funny, he made the stay worthwhile. He is also a chef, and you know it when you try the breakfast. I am a big fan of beans in general and the beans he prepares for breakfast are on my top 3. It is next to Merendon mountains which adds to the beauty of the place since you can hear a variety of birds every morning. I also liked that it is really quiet, to me that is really important since I was on a work-related trip and I really value having a good night's rest. I'd recommend it to anybody traveling to San Pedro Sula.

“Beautiful place in a peaceful neighborhood”
Wonderful place in a safe (rich) neighborhood in San Pedro Sula. The rooms are very big and clean and there is a nice pool area. The owner is a good cook and we had fish there for lunch. Right next to the Refugio there is a plant nursery which also functions as a café and you can get world class coffee there.
