Overview
Located in a quiet rural environment 4 km off downtown San Pedro de Atacama, Atacama Rukazen offers interiors with cosy regional décor surrounded by an indigenous natural environment. There is a living room area with a fireplace. Rooms at Atacama Rukazen are equipped with private bathrooms with showers and 24-hour hot water. Guest will also find a cypress wood fired hot tub, available for an additional fee. The property can arrange several tours around San Pedro and it's privilege location, in front of the Moon Valley, makes it easy to visit the area. Guests staying at Atacama Rukazen can enjoy a daily breakfast with natural products such as quinoa, homemade bread and goat cheese. A daily dinner can be arranged for an extra fee. Yoga sessions can be arranged.

“Very nice lodge, owner is great”
The location is great, the room is cleaned, the pool also. Breakfast is in a very nice and cozy spot of the building! But the best part is made by the owner, Ivan, very kind and available all the time, you can trust on his pieces of advice and ask him different things of the area, he knows everything very well and can suggest the best to do!

“3 days, wondering arround, includiong Cerro Toco”
The best host both friendly and very very helpful. They are charming. Their advice is better than of any torurist attraction organizers. Much much more competent. All one has to do to plan a perfect stay in Atacama is make a booking at their place - everything else will be dealt with on spot.

“Great stay”
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was comfortable, plenty of hot water, good internet and a free breakfast. There is a communal area providing hot drinks, a fridge and a microwave. Ivan the manager was really helpful and arranged a great stargazing trip for us that picked us up from the accommodation. Great choice of accommodation away from town so no noise at night.

“I would stay in this hotel anytime!”
The property is a little hard to find if you are not using google loc. but it's Atacma right ? so if you are a "chicken like guy for organised voyage with a tour" (in this case, no wonder, tour guide will get you to an "american like hotel"), if not, and if you are like us, discovering the real atacama, talking with people and walking by yourself, this hotel is for you, the owner is a very nice person and the staff is lovely.... I would get back again anytime!
