The hotel is very nice, we had an unpleasant hygiene situation at the pool, it was reported to the administrator who didn't take it seriously. We were unable to use the pool, and other guest were not alerted about the unpleasant matter.

“Not worth the money, very disappointing”

A completely disappointing Hilton experience. The staff was incredibly slow, having to ask them multiple times for things to be done. We had to ask over 5 times for our seating pillows for the terrace to be brought, which were missing from the very first day we checked in. Had to chase management to get it done. Multiple things were not working in the rooms, from the TV remote control to the safe. The bathroom sink got clogged up as well on our second day there. Rooms weren’t regularly cleaned unless you specifically asked them to be, for which again we had to chase on more than one occasion. The wider property is also disappointing. There are buildings under development at the hotel, meaning there are construction sites upon entrance. There are no options for dining other than the main house and the independent restaurant bar, both of which are very expensive (minimum of 120 US $ for breakfast for 3 people). Pool and poolside seating was very basic, again disappointing for a Hilton.

Mahogany Bay's location is good if you want to explore San Pedro and the surrounding areas without being right in the mix of it all. The bedrooms are comfy and the beds are nice and big. The brownies at the coffee shop are out of this world - probably the best thing about the hotel...

Mahogany Bay Resort makes a grand impression, sprawling across a large piece of land and feeling like its own self-contained estate. The private beach was exquisite, offering a serene getaway within the property itself. While on the expensive side, the on-site dining options did not compromise on quality, delivering satisfying meals.

Liked the coffee shop (for breakfast) and the Taco Shack. The private beach was actually much nicer than I expected. The excursion for snorkelling was very memorable - and a highlight of our vacation.

I enjoyed eating at the Verandah for breakfast and dinner. The Sushi restaurant was also very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. Wonderful people work at Mahogany Bay.

The property was lovely! Great options for a variety of food, everything is clean and easy to get to. The private beach with complementary boat ride to get there is a great bonus!

The private beach is beautiful. The staff was extremely nice, we had great service from Miguel. The resort unit was very comfortable.

We arrived to find our room to be too small and located in an area of the development that had too much golf cart traffic that lasted past 1 AM. A condominium upgrade was offered. We took the upgrade knowing the cost of the upgrade was excessive.
