Overview
Guests can enjoy spectacular views over San Miguel de Allende from Casa Frida’s rooftop terrace, or relax in the garden of this colonial style mansion, just 6 blocks from the city’s historic centre. Each room at Casa Frida has a unique style, featuring Mexican decorative details and paintings of European masters including Matisse, Klimt and Toulouse-Lautrec. The bathrooms are adorned with colourful Mexican tiles. Guests can relax in the spacious living room decorated with portraits of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. There is also an outdoor lounge with tables, chairs and sofas. The owners of Casa Frida will be happy to provide information on historic and cultural attractions in the area, including the parish of San Miguel and the Casa de Allende. Free Wi-fi is available throughout the house.

Neat and beautiful place to stay! close to the center by foot in a quiet area but you might need an uber for your return as the uphill is for the strong!! Our host was wonderful and took special care of us! We felt his hospitality and we thank him very much for that! Clean place and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic BnB, really friendly and homely. Breakfast absolutely delicious, beautiful rooms and nice sitting areas, patios etc. Host gave great recommendations and was super helpful. Excellent value for money, totally recommend.

“Beautiful house in peaceful area”
Lovely building inside and out, the host is super friendly, attentive and welcoming. The rooms are clean, the shower is great- hot water and good water pressure. It’s a very peaceful and feels like home! Good coffee for breakfast. Loved the cat of the house!

It was such a beautiful place. Truly relaxing atmosphere, one of the nicest stays in Mexico so far on our trip. The staff were amazing, let us check in early and gave us loads of recommendations which all turned out amazing ❤️. The room was sooo comfortable and relaxing and clean. The breakfast was also sensational. Can’t recommend this place enough :).

The host was fantastic! Friendly, informative, and helpful in so many ways - from suggesting places to visit and eat to arranging a shuttle ride back to the QRO airport. Diego the cat was so sweet and an extra treat to help us feel welcome and relaxed. The breakfasts were authentic, delicious and different each day. The place is colorful, unique, and impeccably clean, with an serene inner courtyard garden. Each room is unique and very tastefully decorated, with carved wooden doors and colorful tiled bathrooms. Don’t miss the rooftop terrace with a great view of the city!

The location was a nice 15 minute walk to el centro. The breakfast was delicious! Guillermo and the Ladies were all very friendly. The roof top terraces were a great spot to enjoy the views! The courtyard and neighbourhood were all very peaceful. Cute cat too!

“Great air bnb, amazing value for money :)”
We loved the location (10 min walk from town, super peaceful, and up high with a view over the city), the room was lovely and big, great breakfast in the morning (pastries, coffee, yoghurt/fruit, then a delicious home cooked mexican meal), and Guillermo was a great host with good tips.
