Overview
Set 3 km from the Valley of the Temples, Hotel Costazzurra features a museum with a private collection of earthenware from Magna Grecia, ancient Egypt and Rome. This hotel is in the seaside resort of San Leone, just 3 km from the Valley of the Temples. Hotel Costazzurra offers air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV and Wi-Fi. Annex rooms have a veranda. At the Costazzurra there is also a pizzeria restaurant proposing fresh fish and pizza dishes accompanied by Sicilian wines. You can book sessions in the spa which includes a pool with hydromassage, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath and sensory shower. A free internet point is available in the lounge and you can sip an apéritif at the Verde Mare bar by the outdoor summer pool.

The hotel was pretty nice. We only stayed for one night, but it was good. It was interesting to see the museum pieces in the hotel. The service was nice. We forgot toothpaste, with one phone call to the reception we received toothpaste and toothbrushes, within a few minutes. Balcony was also nice.

“Great value for money!”
Super clean & comfortable. Location was good very close to the beach & temples. Parking is just across the road with a gate to make it more secure. Staff was super helpful & the breakfast was great!

“Wonderful hotel”

“Well worth it”
The room was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking was secure with good amount of space and no booking was require. The breakfast was good enough, nothing too fancy but a good amount of choice is available. Gluten free bread and some some pastries were also available. The pool area is well maintained and quiet. Guests are offered a complimentary welcome drink with some nibbles at the bar and a bottle of wine on checkout. Amazing service.

“Overall - a pleasant stay with room for improvement”
The property enjoys an excellent location, with close proximity to notable attractions such as Scala dei Turchi and Agrigento, as well as the possibility of a convenient two-hour train journey to Palermo. The swimming pool was very clean and of a comfortable size, and its location, just across the road from the reception area, was not an inconvenience. The on-site restaurant was reasonably priced and complemented by dedicated service from the staff. Secure car parking was available, which is an essential feature when travelling in Sicily. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting a delightful couple who kindly accompanied me on a trip to Palermo. Breakfast was served until 10 a.m., offering a relaxed and accommodating start to the day.

The location was great. Cafes, bars, and restaurants were all within walking distance, including the hotel’s own restaurant. The beach was a 15-minute walk away, and a grocery store was just around the corner. It was also a good base to explore key tourist attractions. The Valle dei Templi was just a 5-minute drive away, and the Scala dei Turchi was a 20-minute drive. Our room was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a short stay, including a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean as well. The breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant, located in a separate building just across the lawn. There was a good selection of hot and cold foods and beverages. The coffee was really good. The staff were polite and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed, including a map of nearby tourist attractions. We were also offered a welcome drink on our arrival. There was free parking available for guests on a gated property across the street from the hotel.
