Easy to book, good location - 20/25 minute walk from the beach. The staff were super helpful as we checked in earlier. Body gel& shampoo along with towels provided. Air conditioning system works great & the room along with the bathroom was super clean

“Amazing staff, local and close to the beach”

Staff! Tony was absolutely amazing and he really did it for us! He was soo helpful, ready to give us local recommendations and so available for anything. He runs the place basically by himself, renovating, cleaning, he always made sure there was fresh drinking water in the fridge and had always a lovely smile on! The property is not located in a too touristy bit of the island, you really get a local feel and the place is just a 15min walk from the beach. The beach is a local one with very few tourists, and in the evening you would share it with only a few families. There is a shop about 10min walk away that has anything you could need. There is also a bus stop not far away from the property where the T5 (bus) stops, this is a free bus that takes you right to Old San Juan, a lovely place with so many things to visit and many restaurants. And if you want a cheaper option for dinner we found this sandwich shop in the middle that was incredible and super affordable!! Would definitely come back!

The bathroom was very dirty, hairs and dirty wipes everywhere while we were the first customers. Also, we slept very badly because there are no windows, only an open mosquito net, and there were people chilling in front of our open window at 3 AM. There is also no hot water and the no wifi in the rooms, only if you stand outside in front of the door of the owners. The bed was 120 cm so not great to share with 2 friends. We felt very unsafe in the neighborhood, this was also confirmed by our taxi driver. Unfortunately it was really not what we expected and I can not recommend this property.

Host is very helpful, but speak only Spanish (but body language helps out). This is house and a lot public space!

The mattress

The hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable budget stay: clean room and bathroom, full kitchen and living area, and safe parking on site. Check in was quick and the staff was very friendly! Felt like we were staying in someone's home. Perfect place to stay if you have a car.
