Great little air-conditioned room, I really appreciated having a fridge and access to the kitchen with fresh food markets close by. Sitting on the cliff, I was pleasantly surprised to see the biggest turtle I’ve ever encountered

“Great value”

This is incredible value for money. It’s very simple accommodation but the room is new, clean and white. The island suffers from black outs poor WiFi and water shortages. Here there is a high quality back up generator, Starlink WiFi and a large water tank installed. There is also a communal kitchen area and even access to the sea at the back via ladders. The family are absolutely lovely. Obviously like everywhere else on the island you share the grounds and your mornings with cockerels :) If you are on a budget this is a great place to stay - it’s a few minutes ride from the centre but you can hire a bike very cheaply from the family.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. They offer free pick up and drop off from the port. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The bed is comfy. Accessible location.

The location was perfect – close to local attractions and restaurants The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me and my sister feel welcome. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Excellent value for money – I’ll definitely be back!

There’s a private cliff where I watched one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the Philippines, with plenty of turtles swimming below—a truly unforgettable experience! The family who runs it is incredibly kind and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Everything. The location, the people felt like family (very kind, couldn’t do enough for us), beautiful cliff at the bottom of property, very clean, great aircon (brand new). We had a little emergency while here (I ended up in hospital lol) and they even came to visit me, and helped us figure out the rest of our stay and let us extend. They’ve purchased a brand new generator, which brings the electricity back on within 5 minutes of it cutting out (happens fairly often on the whole island). Edenna (manager/Chery’s niece) is there all day, everyday and is the sweetest; very willing to help.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and fun. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, providing great comfort. The location was beautiful. Highly recommendable.

Do not be put off by the lack of reviews! Chery’s is a new guesthouse that I would 100% recommend. The entrance to the property is ‘rustic’ and it may not have fancy facilities around… but the room was new, clean & very comfortable. The staff are so friendly and smiley - always happy to help with anything… including hiring a scooter.
