Everything! The manager (Punch) was amazing! He made us feel right at home. Punch and his uncle even took us to a local basketball game, which was so cool. The cabin and grounds are an oasis in the heart of San Ignacio. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in San Ignacio. Punch is super knowledgeable and always happy to help, by the end we felt like he was our friend! There are Toucans and other gorgeous birds on site. A peaceful hammock area and super cute outdoor kitchen. I couldn't wait to go back to our cabin at the end of each day.

Mama Kai was so well placed. Very close to the centre but relatively quiet. The staff were lovely and the cabana, although quite basic, was great. A small shared kitchen close by was helpful too.

Conveniently close to town, while feeling some exposure to the wild.

Good value for money. Wonderful huge garden (you can see iguanas and even toucans) and chill area with hammocks. Close to the market and near the bus stops for tourist shuttles from Guatemala to Caye Caulker. Part of San Ignacio lies on a hill so if your guest house is in that part you need to walk up a steep hill to get “home”. There’s no hill between Mana Kai and the center, so easy to walk even when it’s hot.

The area is really beautiful, with hammocks, the sounds of the jungle and some toucans if you're lucky. The dorm was cozy with only three beds. Francisco was a great host and took me with another guest to see some waterfalls close by. The accomodation is very close to the center of San Ignacio.

Very nice maintained campsite. Clean and comfortable cabins. Nice kitchen and chill area. Host and staff is very sympathetic and good vibes and gives tips for tours and activities in the area and calls you when he sees a tucán. Right next to the market for easy shopping

The location is very close to the market but in a park like setting which is refreshing. There’s a kitchen to cook in, free filtered water available and the host Fransisco is very friendly and helpful.

Super great staff. Francisco booked us an awesome atm cave tour (you must do it) at a great price, helped us to find a toucan in the garden, and made great local recommendations. The cleaning lady was very sweet and made sure we didn't leave without my swimsuit, which I'd accidentally left in the room. The garden is also very pretty.
