Set in beautiful gardens, Ka'ana Resort & Spa features a spa, an infinity pool and charming rooms with terraces. Located outside San Ignacio, it offers excursions to nearby national parks, caves and the rainforest. I was extremely disappointed with the hotel's handling of my reservation. Despite being unable to reach the hotel due to Hurricane Beryl, they charged me the full amount for my stay. The staff showed no understanding or empathy for my situation, demonstrating a complete lack of concern for their customers. Instead, their primary focus was on securing their payment in full, regardless of the circumstances. This lack of compassion and flexibility in the face of a natural disaster was both disheartening and frustrating.

“Beautiful property, WONDERFUL staff!!!”
This hotel was stunning! From the welcome drink and scented towel upon check-in, to the beauty of the property, to the stunning decor and design of the room, everything exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend this location! The staff was on top of their game and were insanely impressive!!!

“Amazing Stay”
This hotel is a gem! Everything is so beautiful, delicate, clean and well maintained. The outside shower is amazing, we never used the inside shower! The staff is amazing, so nice and help-full! We enjoyed the pool in the jungle everyday after a day outside! We are vegan and the chef cooked for us delicious vegan meals, the food was delicious!

“Let down by small details”
The room (especially the outside bath and shower) felt luxurious. The setting - well maintained grounds, that were beautifully lit at night.

“Great boutique hotel just outside of San Ignacio”
The hotel is beautifully situated in the jungle and the rooms were very spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was good, we dined there two nights and then went into town for one night. During the evening turn down service, they leave you little dessert treats by your bedside table which change each day, which was a really nice touch!
