Located on a hill in the Tuscan countryside, 5 minutes' drive from San Gimignano, Villasanpaolo Resort & Spa is surrounded by olive groves. It offers a modern spa and both outdoor and indoor pools. Rooms at Villasanpaolo Resort & Spa are located in the main building and in 2 separate villas. They all have interactive TVs with internet access and luxury bathrooms with an olive oil based courtesy set. Guests can enjoy a wide range of treatments at the 1000 m² Irispa Benessere spa. This includes an outdoor heated pool, an indoor pool with hydromassage area, Turkish bath, sensory showers and much more. Lampolla restaurant serves Tuscan specialities based on local products, and fine local wines. It offers panoramic views of San Gimignano's medieval towers.

We loved the room, large with a balcony and a lovely view. The Receptionist who welcomed us, I think her name was Sarah, was lovely throughout our stay The rest of the staff was also fine From what we ate the food was delicious. They also had gluten-free options

“Convenient for San Gimignano, lovely staff but quite dingy rooms.”
All staff lovely - very friendly and helpful, food in main restaurant reasonable, but menu a bit limited if staying for a few days. Good position, close to San Gimignaoo and fairly easy to drive to the Teatro del Silenzio for the Andrea Bocelli concert.

Excellent hotel with great facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar food and drinks were excellent with good options. Room was very clean and a great size with big beds.

Great hotel if you want a refuge from sightseeing at busy towns. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. lovely to feel the breeze by the pool and set up the loungers in the shade to see the view. Very clean and comfortable beds. If staying longer than 3 days and eating at the hotel the menu is the same. Luckily they opened the bar so had more choice of food. Really enjoyed the spa which costs £30 extra. I had a great massage as well. I would highly recommend buy def need a car as can’t walk anywhere as high on a hill and no path. Loved the view and piece and the typical Tuscan houses that now have rooms to stay.

“Great place for a relaxing time to wind down.”
We had a great time and wished we could have stayed another day! Great place to relax with nice amenities. We loved the spa/pool we used it both days and had a treatment there too. There are a few nice areas with lovely landscape to sit and enjoy, read a book or have a drink and enjoy the views. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We also loved the food at the bistro for lunch, quality and good value.

“A slice of paradise in Tuscany”
A little slice of paradise. We stayed at the hotel with our grandchild and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had a ground floor room with private garden close to the pool. The hotel is surrounded by an outstanding vista of the Tuscan countryside. Incredibly peaceful. The room we had was spacious with a lovely jacuzzi bath. The outside pool had sun loungers and plenty of shade on a sunny day. There was a comprehensive range of food for breakfast which was enjoyed in a cool dining room with stunning views. We enjoyed half board. The food was superb and the staff ensured we were able to eat earlier due to fit in with the baby's bedtime. The hotel was one of the best I have stayed in and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful hotel with lovely large rooms. Wonderful outdoor pool and jacuzzi with toilets, shower etc. Lots of places to sit and relax outside and inside. Fantastic games room with pool table and games. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and food is delicious.
