Overview
Peace and quietness are the main ingredients of Il Borgo Di Mariano, a rustic country house surrounded by the Tuscan countryside. It features a restaurant and an outdoor pool. Olive oil is produces on site. Rooms are country style and come with antique wooden furniture and wood-beamed ceilings. Each has an LCD TV, a fan and a private bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. Guests can relax on the numerous sun loungers scattered around the garden and surrounding the pool. Is mandatory the use of headphones in the pool .The on-site restaurant specialises in local cuisine and homemade pasta, sauces and cakes. On site you will also find a padel court and children’s playground. Wifi is available only on the restaurant . Borgo Di Mariano country house is in Castel San Gimignano, 13 km from San Gimignano, a town famous for its wine. Florence is a 1-hour drive away.

“One of the nicest places we stayed in”
Whole accommodation and surrounding, including the swimming pool, seating area in the shades and stone pathways are beautiful. Staff if very helpful and responsive. Shaded parking place is convenient. Two bathrooms in 2-bed apartment are very helpful. Practical layout, well equipped apartment. Location is great to visit the surrounding Tuscan towns, Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni etc.

We had a fabulous time at Tenuta Decimo. The property is comprised of two sites, Borgo di Mariano and Villa Dini, which are walking distance from one another. Both look incredible with rustic looks and surrounded by vineyards and greenery. It was so incredible that I decided to propose to my (now) fiancèe while on a walk around the property, and we are now considering having our wedding here. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There's also a restaurant on site ("Locanda del Borgo" at Borgo di Mariano site) which we didn't get the chance to try, but it looked lovely! The location is impeccable if you're looking to be immersed in the tuscan hills while soaking up the sun and have a glass of your favourite Vernaccia/Chianti. Can't say enough what an amazing find this was and we really can't wait to be back.

This place is so beautiful and it's a real Tuscany vibe. If you want to rewind and relax, this is the place to be. I got here in early October and I guess it's an end of high season, so the resort was quite which I like, I can have a pool by myself and it's stunning beautiful with landscape and beautiful buidling!

Quiet, clean excellent location for visiting Certaldo, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Petriolo and others. Breakfast is pricey but very good. Friendly and responsive staff.

Tenuta Decimo's location is amazing, with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside, and very well kept grounds, makes you feel right at home. The staff is very welcoming and courteous, and the food at the restaurant (Borgo Mariano) is fantastic.

The location was excellent - very quiet and surrounded by nature. However it's a must to rent a car. Room had a private outdoor area which was great. The pool area was very quiet and clean. The restaurant had reasonable prices and food was great.

“A beautiful, well-situated place, with friendly staff.”
The Grounds and house are beautiful and the pools are well maintained. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating with all our various requests: They helped us to organise activities (horse riding highly recommended) and sorted out any queries or small issues quickly and effectively. The Restaurant is attractive, serves good food and is convenient (also great staff - they were so helpful in helping to make my husband's birthday dinner special). The location is well situated for all the wonderful Tuscan sights. We were able to walk into the local village and enjoy a pizza, which was a bonus. There is a good variety of different options available for breakfast and the terrace is pleasant.

The location is perfect. Both buildings - the Villa and Borgo Mariano are in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan country side. The closest little town is 5 minutes drive. We stayed at Borgo Mariano and the place was so quiet and peacefull. We had our own little stone house which was an apartment with a spacious patio. The bed is comfy. Overall our stay was perfect. If you're looking for a relaxing hideaway this place is for you.

Location is amazing but beds could have better as my son's sofa bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Other than that the restaurant food was of great value and delicious.
