This place is truly a dream come true! Everything is maintained to the highest standard. The view is absolutely breathtaking – like something straight out of a painting. Waking up to such beautiful scenery every day was an unforgettable experience. The swimming pool is beautiful, and the staff is professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The rooms are spotless and cleaned every day, which made our stay even more comfortable. A special thank you goes to Barbara, the owner, who is an absolutely amazing person. When we arrived, the refrigerator in our room stopped working. After we reported the issue, Barbara immediately arranged a brand-new replacement. Her care for guests and attention to every detail are exceptional. We felt welcomed from the very first moment and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will definitely return to this wonderful place again. ❤️ Highly recommended!

Barbara was a wonderful host! Her hospitality was very warm and welcoming. Our stay in Podere Sant'Elena was amazing, spacious and authentic place that also includes parking and a beautiful pool overseeing a pastoral view of San Gimignano and the surroundings. Also would like to mention that Sylvia was amazing and helped us with any question we had. We will definitely return and recommend our friends and relatives about this place.

“A wonderful, peaceful experience”

Amazing view on San Gimignano, clean and modern bathroom, nice big towels, large room with comfortable bed. Barbara and her team could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They were fantastic and we will definitely return one day.

Location is perfect, no mass turism, beautifull view from the breakfast terasse! Atmosphare of the room was very nice!Cleaness is excellent. Staff is very kind and helping in all issues. Breakfast is excellent. Pool is very clean and the garden is very comfortable. The bed was very comfortbale. For us was very comfortable, that we could visited nice and/or historical places with short drivings and aftern return we could relax at the pool. The quiet nigths, the good air, to be near to the nature ( olives and grape plants) was absolutly great. Towel for pool is also very good service. Good restaurant nearby, onyl 3 minutes to walk. Podere Sant' Elena is a place, I plan to return many times. I can recommend this place for everybody with high quality expectations.

“Would love to come back here.”

Podere Sant’Elena is a little gem just outside San Gimignano. So cozy, comfortable and clean rooms, calm surroundings, really good breakfast, nice pool area. It also has a great view, looking over the fields and towards the city. It is run by the nicest and kindest people you can find. Me and a friend of mine stayed there for four days in October, and we would have loved to stay there longer. Perfect for adults looking for a calm break from everyday life. Will definitely recommend friends and family to stay here, and would really want to come back here myself some day in the future. It is about a 30 minute walk to the city center of San Gimignano, where you can find a lot of good restaurants and cozy shops, so perfect for a little walk before and after dinner for people who’s in normal shape since the landscape goes a bit down and up on the way there and back. Would absolutely recommend having a rental car or booking a driver before coming here though, since it’s a small community with not a lot of taxi drivers or buses around.

“Incredible stay in a special place”

Podere Sant’Elena is a special place and we absolutely loved our stay here! The location is quiet and secluded with incredible views of the rolling Tuscan hills of San Gimignano. It’s close enough to walk to SG on a fairly hilly/rocky track but only takes about 30 mins. We had a car that only took 5 mins and it’s easy to park at the property, so would recommend to hire one to easily travel around. The property itself is stunning with well kept grounds/pool area and everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast is also a special experience with morning sunrise views over SG with lots of delicious options. Last and certainly not least to mention are the staff, everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming that add to overall experience. Silvia in particular was exceptional and couldn’t do enough to help and make our stay a great one! Overall a wonderful trip and we’ll be coming back!

“We had a wonderful stay!”

The accomodation is excellent, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and with a fantastic view of San Gimignano. It’s a perfect base for day trips around Tuscany and just a few minutes drive from San Gimignano. You can also walk there in about 30-40 min through beautiful countryside. There’s plenty of garden furniture with tables and chairs around the property, so you can relax during the day or in the evening and even prepare your own picnic. Our room was nice and very clean, with mosquito screens. The pool is the cherry on top of this lovely place. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of different dishes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Silvia. Next time we’re in Tuscany, this will definitely be our first choice.

Fantastic location and view, great snacks and drinks available, lovely breakfast and the staff were perfect too. 30 minute walk into town was handy too, if not easy to get a taxi. Good restaurant in walking distance. Overall fantastic!

The location is amazing. I mean, the view of San Gimignano is something else. You can see it while eating your breakfast, you can see it from the swimming pool, and you’ll never get tired of it. What’s more, even though it doesn’t seem like it, it only takes about 30 minutes on foot to get to San Gimignano, so it is possibly faster than finding a parking spot! :)

The owner and staff were lovely, Barbara, Silvia, Steve and our housekeeper were kind, considerate and v helpful. The views spectacular and the swimming pool clean and well positioned. Good restaurant only 5 mins walk away and property only 5 mins drive to many wineries and restaurants. Nice drive and entrance through automatic opening iron gates Room was air conditioned and quiet. 5 mins drive from San Gimignano and the Coop for good supplies Nice supply of beers and wines from reception

Such a special place, clean, comfortable, inviting… and EXCELLENT staff.. especially Sylvia! Great location overlooking San Gimignano .. and such a nice outlook for a delicious breakfast. The pool and pool area is also excellent and refreshing after a day sightseeing.. the whole property is so well looked after.. we would definitely recommend this accomodation!
