Total mix up - the owner was supposed to meet us but he wasn’t there. We called him and he wasn’t aware of the booking. Eventually he arrived about 45mins later and was very apologetic.

A great place for a vacation! A stone house (thick walls), with doors and windows on many sides (when open allow draft) and shutters, compensated the lack of air conditioning. It wasn't needed, even though it was 35C outside at noon. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped (fridge with freezer, gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, cutlery, plates, glasses, cups, gas coffee maker). You have to provide the rest (like spices, paper towels etc.) on your own, but this is understandable in an apartment, not in a hotel. Rooms: to the right (or left if you enter the apartment from the opposite side) - two slightly smaller rooms. One with double bed, one with two single beds. Each of two rooms has smaller bathroom. Additionally, one larger, separate bathroom accessible from the corridor. To the left – two slightly larger rooms, with double beds. Additionally, one large, separate bathroom accessible from the corridor. A total of 4 bathrooms, but basically two small ones (with a toilet, bidet, washbasin and shower cabin) in the rooms, and two large ones (more m2, but the same equipment) on both sides of the corridor. Next to the house there is a gazebo, perfect for a meal and an evening conversation with Tuscan wine. Petunia apartment is on the first floor of a house located on a hill (diagonally, as in the mountains area). This is level zero, to go through the kitchen to the gazebo, to the car, to the swimming pool. This is the first floor level as for going down from the living room (stairs outside the house), but we didn't often go down there because there is another apartment (Glicine) on the “lower” ground floor level. A few meters from the house, on a hill (including a few stone steps up) there is a swimming pool. Wonderful! Salt water (prevents the water from turning green), warm (we were there in mid-July). Sunbads and umbrellas in sufficient quantity. I recommend purchasing plastic cups for beverages at the pool. Gabrio-super helpful, nice host.

Rustic place but very peaceful and quiet.

The most beautiful views and the type of Tuscan villa you’ve always wanted to stay in.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood, close to the city. Spacious dining room, comfortable beds. We had a great time here. Gabrio is a very kind, willing, helpful and flexible host.
