Absolutely loved it! The cabins are basic, but everything you need is in there. It gets cold in the night, but there are good blankets and a heater (we didn't need it) to keep you warm. When we came back to the cabin late in the afternoon, the owner came to tell us that there was a quetzal behind Miriams quetzals so we could have a look. It was amazing!

“Cozy tiny cabin”

Tiny cabin, with small seating corner. It’s very basic. The restaurant opposite the street is run by Miriam, where you can have breakfast or other meals. There are birds around like hummingbirds, squirrels and woodpeckers. If you want to see the quetzal, this is the place!

“Good cabins in a great location”

Really great stay with a great host. It isn't very clear from the listing but this is the same owner as Miriam's Quetzals, which is across the street. That means you have access to the great bird feeders and a small seating area. The restaurant was also quite nice.

Excellent all round. We were welcomed into the Tico family. Views are incredible. Almost 30 species of birds seen at their feeders.

Very kind and welcoming hosts, the place is very peaceful. Nice place to observe birds!

Our cabin was very nice. The facilities are spotless and well equipped with place to hang and place stuff. Miriam is lovely and recommended a place where to catch a glimpse of a quetzal nest. Her restaurant across the street serves very good food and has a beautiful garden surrounding it with Colibris, woodpeckers, toucans and squirrels. The pizza place next door serves good pizza and it's open after 7pm.

Great Place! Amazing room!

Beautifull view from the bed to beautifull hills. You can see all birds from the restaurant across the street. Hosts are super nice and the food was delicious and coffee too. You have to try their trout. In the restaurant you can see quetzal and many other birds. You can take pictures of all birds and especially hummingbirds which are all around. Be prepared for local temperature but in the cabin was enough blankets to warm you.
