This towering historic landmark on Nob Hill features a top-floor restaurant with beautiful views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Cable car stops are just outside the hotel. Classic location for San Fran, and on two street car lines. Top of the Mark is an institution for a cocktail lounge with a wonderful view of city and bay. The cafe was good standard.

The location is very central and in a scenic & safe part of town. The views from Top of the Mark is fabulous! We could easily walk to various areas to explore.

“Nice historical hotel with a good view”
Nice hotel with a lot of history in SF. Pretty view at the top of the hill. Hotel does feel a bit tired and past its golden years, but can still be appreciated. Staff were kind and the bed was comfortable.

“I highly recommend this excellent hotel in a beautiful location.”
It was opulent and grand, while being warm and friendly. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and again, the service was wonderful. My room was large, very clean with an excellent bed and great air conditioning. The hotel is in a great location and has a very handy pickup/drop off location out the front of the hotel.
