“Lovely hosts”
I liked being out of town as it was quieter, and you can pick up a taxi from pretty much outside the door into town for 75 cents. Christian and his family are lovely humans. They are available to help in any situation, and if your Spanish isn't great, they're the perfect hosts. They have 2 dogs and 2 cats, which are incredibly friendly, and some chickens. I loved their wild garden too. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was poweful

The lady running this place is a wonderful human being. My brief interaction with her reminded me of just being home with family. She's such a beautiful person.

“Exceptional stay at a beautiful place”
We loved staying here. The apartment is located in the beautiful garden of an estate, the family living there was exceptionally hospitable. We would get fresh fruits in the morning and were invited to have coffee at the family table. When we forgot a wallet in a taxi, they called everybody they knew to successfully retrieve the lost wallet. The apartment has everything you need and was clean.

Really friendly hosts who offered to pick us up from Puerto Baquerizo and gave us some bananas on arrival! The cabin is cute and perfect for two people with a lovely garden as surroundings. Great value for money and with some self catering provisions.

Lovely family-run accomodation in San Cristobal. A spacious, clean and quiet apartment in the beautiful green garden. I felt very well here. The owner picked me up at the airport, he was very friendly and helpful with everything. The accomodation is a bit outside the main town, but easily accessible with taxi or bicycle. A great price-value. I enjoyed my stay here and can highly recommend Darwin's Temple. :-)

“Memorable stay with a wonderful family. Would 100% book again .”
The host and his family were so welcoming and helpful throughout our trip. We were welcomed into their home and they helped us with things to do and tours which we really appreciated. The home is a peaceful oasis it’s a little far from town but so easy to get a taxi - but their home is special and a nice place to go to unwind and relax after a long day of trips. Incredible stay !

quite far from the town but definitely worth it. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with every information about the island. Although the community of El Progreso doesn’t offer the same services as the town does, there’s a lot of cheap or free services offered by the community. Definitely worth a couple nights, a little retreat in the small village of El Progreso. Thank you!

The owner was a sweetheart, she gave us good recommendations and helped us with everything we needed. The hostel itself was also very nice, clean and with a lot of cute animals (dogs, cats, ducklings,..)
