Overview
Set 300 metres from the Piz Sorega ski lifts, Hotel Steinrösl offers a garden equipped with tables and sun loungers. Featuring free laundry facilities and free ski storage, it has rooms with a balcony. A breakfast consisting of homemade cakes, jam and cold cuts, together with yoghurt and fresh fruits is served daily. A restaurant specialising in traditional dishes and a snack bar are available on site. Each room has a flat-screen TV, views of the Dolomites and parquet floors. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests can enjoy reading a book from the library in the shared lounge. The centre of San Cassiano is a 2-minute walk from Steinrösl Hotel. A bus stopping 200 metres away has links to Passo Falzarego and La Villa.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and forthcoming. There is no pool in the spa area, but the sauna was great. Considering the reasonable price, I think the hotel offers excellent value for money and would definitely recommend it.

I loved everything about this hotel. You were greeted every day with a smile and one could see that the hotel is run with passion for the work each individual does. I had a reservation with half board included and each meal I had at the hotel was a highlight of its own. The hotel was the perfect location for my adventures in the Alta Badia region. I will surely be visiting this place again. The hotel also had a small wine cellar, that I didn’t have the chance to visit, but hopefully next time, as the wine recommendations from the staff were always spot-on!

Located in a very idyllic Sudtirolian village, with a backdrop peaceful green plains and impressive mountains. Very elaborate and tasty breakfast and well prepared regional food for dinner. We came for wine and were blown away by their infinite wine list full of European treasures. And let’s not forget to mention the beautiful wellness with great views from the sauna! All this accompanied with a warm welcome and a family feeling from the team that hosted us made our stay unforgettable!
