Beautiful rooms right on the beach, short walk into town.

The location right on the beach was a dream. Hearing the waves at night was so nice.

The room is well designed, mainly for a romantic couple with a specific sort of holiday in mind. So, for a single traveller, it is a very nice place with a magnificent view. Probably the best place in town.

“Amazing stay right at the beach”

Great location right at the beach, amazing view and friendly staff. Also very close to some nice restaurants / coffee places.

Location right on the beach was fabulous. It's like a micro boutique resort. Restaurant was very convenient with good quality food. Only about 8 cabanas so very small and private. Our room was on the first floor and set back a bit so less breeze and a little warm with no air conditioning the last week of April but the fans helped and a bug net is provided.

Breakfast was great, location fantastic. Staff attentive.

“A lovely location to stay just needs a few tweaks to be perfect”

You couldn’t fault the location of this place, you fall out of bed onto the beach and the beach is beautiful. We watched sunsets and sunrises over the beach. Our room was foremost on the beach so we didn’t have far to walk, plenty of places that will rent you surf gear near by. Restaurants and bars a plenty.

It was magical.. the view from the room was crazy, the staff were so friendly, especially Paco and Edwin .. the location of the hotel was really good as well. We didn’t feel we need an AC in the room, the fan was just perfect.. highly recommended ❤️

“Cant get a better location”

We were in room 8 which was on the upper level and had an uninterrupted view of the beach. Nothing better than going downstairs and taking a couple of steps and you’re on the sand. The place had a relaxed vibe and it was only a 15-minute stroll up and over the hill into Mazut. Rooms were basic with large bathroom but if you enjoy sitting on your deck watching the ocean and then going to bed to the sound of the surf you should stay here. We didn’t want to leave

“Beautiful cabanas on the beach”

The location is awesome. Right on the beach (literally). From our cabana we would sit and watch the ocean it was beautiful. Each cabana has a little hammock which is super relaxing. The room didn’t have a AC, but had two fans. The evening temperature (in October) was very pleasant so it didn’t matter while sleeping. The staff is super nice and relaxed. Mazunte is a 15 minute walk and has a dozen restaurants to choose from.

The food was AMAZING !! The Staff were amazing !! Olivia was amazing on the front desk and was so helpful and friendly she went above and beyond, making our stay comfortable, helping us rent scooters! The whole team there was just wonderful, Hasus was an amazing server and made the best coffee, The cleaning ladies were so kind and did such a great job! The resort itself is stunning and right on the beach. Highly recommend and would stay there again 10/10

“Perfect beach getaway - will be back”

Wow - what an amazing place. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is exquisite (if you want on the beach quiet space) we LOVED it. Would highly recommend. You can get the bus to Mazunte or Zipolate for just 10 peso (taxi back is around 100-200) if you want a bit more choice but why would you..... the beach here is perfect and you are right on it. I noticed other guests said no hot water - we never had this problem, although they did mention if we did when we checked in just to let them know and they would sort it (so obviously read their reviews and react) The staff were amazing, food fantastic (try the sweet bread with avocado, bacon, cheese and egg for breakfast - amazing) and cocktails extremely moreish. The cleaners must watch you as I never saw then but our room was cleaned to an amazing standard every day. Thank you to all the staff - especially Olympia and Oesus (no idea on spelling) - it really was the perfect stay. We will be back next year it was that good xx

“A beautiful and relaxing stay on San Agustinillo Beach”

Our palapa was just in front of the beach with nothing but the ocean to watch from our terrace all day. Olimpia and the staff are absolutely lovely people. They treated us excellent and Carlos and Alejandro from the kitchen were even sweet enough to make special little things for our one-and-a-half-year-old baby boy. We recommend Cabañas Punta Placer all the way!

“We will be back!”

Had the best time at Punta Placer - the hotel and location are so stunning and really relaxing - the photos aren't enough to convey the beautiful direct access to the beach. Loved all the small details like the foot baths outside each room so you didn't get a sandy floor, the pretty lighting at night and daily room cleaning. The staff were so friendly and also went above and beyond, making me a meal off-menu when I was feeling unwell, we really appreciated it and cannot wait to return one day!
