Situated on the edge of the village, Chalet-Hôtel Neige et Roc, The Originals Relais (Hotel-Chalet de Tradition) offers the opportunity to sample French village life, with the centre and its shops only a short walk away. Owners Françoise & Olivier Deffaugt take pride in welcoming guests to their charming family-run complex. The hotel has all the feel of a traditional Alpine chalet with its exposed timber and extensive use of bright pinewood. Combining authentic style with excellent modern comfort, Chalet-Hôtel Neige et Roc offers all the ingredients for an enjoyable and relaxing stay: refined traditional Savoyard cuisine, comfortable rooms each with a balcony offering views of the valley and mountains, leisure area with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, fitness room, beauty treatments and massages, a games room (table football, table tennis, pinball), billiard room, cosy bar and a large landscaped garden with heated swimming-pool, tennis courts and a children’s play area.

Quite expensive but very comfortable and welcoming. Very good restaurant and the staff were helpful and charming. Only spent one night so it didn't matter being in the annexe, away from the hotel facilities

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast, and we loved the swimming pool. Really close to close to a a ski bus stop, and such a short walk from the village.

“Perfect location just a short walk from Samoen village, quiet and very homely.”
Room was a good size with a wrap-around balcony. Plenty of storage. The bathroom was very well equipped, a large bath with overhead and spray shower were excellent. Breakfast and dinner were superb.

I absolutely the love the charm of this hotel, there are so many notes back to the original hotel and how Samoens used to be. The hotel decor in general is chintzy but I love it! The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was really varied and fresh with home-made jams. A short walk into the town centre. We book this place every time for it's charm, friendly welcome and great location!

“Overall very pleasant.”
Great hotel and annex, the location is very central with only a few minutes walk to the beautiful town center. Our studio apartment was spacious enough, the kitchen area was brand new with all the necessary to cook, the bathroom was spacious, the bed wide and comfortable, the balcony in a L shape with 2 sun loungers , a small table and 2 chairs. The hotel facilities were satisfying with a special note going to the basement Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room area and the indoor and outdoor swimming pool area. The breakfast was a self service operation with a very nice selection.
