Liked it enough to arrange an extra stay. Staff fabulous! Good breakfast. Short walk to a nice beach. Easy walk, on the beach, to Samara. Nice local restaurants, close by, on the beach.

Loved this place - the staff, the breakfasts, the close location to a very quiet beach - all was wonderful. We were removed from the busyness of Samara but walking the beach to town was lovely with a couple of beach bar/restaurants on the way.

“Lovely spot to stay if visiting Samara”

Lovely spacious rooms and a great location only 100m from the stunning beach. The pool was great for cooling off in after a day exploring Samara and the room was very comfortable.

Loved the property, the staff, the room, the furniture, the closets and storage. Impeccably clean room, good AC and a great shower too! Breakfast was fantastic, all staff are ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! and overall experience was great. Liked the chickens, roosters and wildlife around the grounds and the pool was nice for a quick dip. Close to a fab, peaceful beach - just perfect for a few nights stay!

The hotel has a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with good variety and quality. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. It was only a 5 minute drive to Playa Carrillo.

Ambience and breakfasts were great.

Easily one of the best places I stayed in Costa Rica. Excellent value for money. The only thing keeping me from giving a 10 is that it's a bit far from Samara center and it was hard for me to get by without a car. If you're traveling with a car, it's a no-brainer. - Lovely stuff - Nice big rooms, in very good condition. - AC and ceiling fan. - Cleanliness. - Extra towels for the beach or pool. - Close to the beach. - Tasty dinner (extra cost).

“Good value for price”

Hotel Sol Samara is just located outside of the city centre, so a car is ideal. It’s surrounded by an amazing nature, a garden with chickens and kittens. The beach is just down the road, a 2min walk and you are with a 5min drive in the city centre surrounded with all restaurants you need

The location is in walking distance to the sámara beach at the far end of the beach which was nice because we basically had the beach to ourselves. Breakfast was very good! Staff also friendly.

The room/bathroom is a bit outdated, but very clean and has everything you need. Very close to the sea, and a nice 15-20 minute walk to Samara (along the beach). I personally liked that the hotel wasn’t in the center, especially if you have a car the distance to Samara is no problem. There is a possibility to have dinner at the hotel (not every day).

Breakfast was good with several choices fresh fruit & juice a nice add. Nice location close to beach easy walking. Good value small property nicely kept.

The location is peaceful if you don’t mind roosters and monkeys😉 and the beach 2 min walk. Amazing sea and beautiful

“Nice stay!”

Nice place to stay. The room and bathroom were good and comfortable, with a great working airco. The pool is small, but nice too. The different breakfast options were good. Surrounded by a beautiful garden.

Value for money and comfy, pretty hotel with little swimming pool.
