We really loved the place and the vibe. Great pool and very spacious apartment. Also only one neighbor which is great. Definitely try the home made paella, so delicious!

We loved everything. The room was incredibly cosy and spacious we felt like we were home. The garden is very well maintained and the swimming pool is just perfect. There are only 2 spots in this hotel so we basically had almost all the time the full garden and swimming pool for ourselves. It's really near the beach and Samara city center is very close by car, walking is fine as well but it can get challenging with the heat.

Fantastic holiday home in Samara that slept 4 of us very well. Really.clean,.homely and with a great swimming pool. We were made to feel very welcome.and sorry we couldn't stay longer. About a half hour walk to centre of Samara, very secure and quiet. Would love to go back.

Rooms were very well set up. Enough closet space for our bags, great bathroom and large kitchen. Loved the pool area and plenty of shade during dry season

The property was beautiful, safe, and had all the amenities we needed. Our hostess was very helpful and answered our questions quickly.

What a wonderfull place in Samara. Very peacefull and a beautiful pool area with chairs, loungebed, nice decorations and paintings. We were welcomed by Maite who is a lovely women and makes you feel at home quickly. Our family had a nice time there. The owner was very helpfull as well when we needed some help with local information in english. we would definitely recommend this place if you like your own little heaven on holidays.

“Fantasic stay in a beautiful environment”

We absolutely loved our stay here. The garden and wooden apartment are so beautiful and cosy. Everything well maintained. The swimming pool was really great given the temperatures and humidity in the rainy season. The host Maité is so kind as well and any questions are quickly answered. We didn’t realise when making our booking that there are only two apartments so there is a lot of privacy and quiet though the host lives on the property too so always nearby if needed. The walk to town is definitely doable (about 20min) which we did a couple of times but a car is convenient as well. We saw howler monkeys in the trees nearby, lots of birds, coatis and lizards nearby and there lives a scarlet macaw and crocodiles nearby (which unfortunately we didn’t get to see). In short: just book it, you won’t regret.

“Absolutely amazing place! Paradise”

Beautiful gardens and beautifully decorated home, super clean, super stylish and very homely amazing pool!!. We wanted to stay forever! We felt very spoilt.

This place was our favorite in all Costa Rica. Its a little heaven in Samara. We stayed there with my sister and my baby. Everything was perfect: 1/ the place and the outdoor space were beautiful and cozy 2/ the apartment was super mega clean. It could not be any cleaner! 3/ AC for hot days 4/ our host is such a nice and friendly person. She was very helpful for information in all sort, always available when we had question and for great communication. And she makes delicious banana bread!!! 5/ the apartment is very spacious and has everything you will need 6/ great location: very quiet but also short drive from the city, all convenient stores, restaurant and to the beach Overall I definitely recommend this place if you want to spend great vacation in Samara

Pleasant and quiet accommodation. Nice welcome from the owner, she brought us banana bread. The pool was perfect for playing with the kids.

Maite is a super friendly & attentive host. We loved the banana bread as a sweet welcome gesture. Also, the breakfast (10 $) was very tasty! The dogs & cats are friendly, and some enjoy cuddles 😉. We enjoyed the cozy pool area. The spacious cabin as well as the overall compound are held clean & lush with tangible care. Since there are only two cabins for rent, the place is quiet and relaxing.

“A perfect option in Samara!”

Really impressive! Everything was of a really high standard, clean, well looked after and tastefully designed. Beautiful wooden house, nice bathroom (good shower), very comfortable beds and a small but perfectly functional kitchen. We were also treated to some delicious banana cake by the owner. A super pleasant experience!

Everything!!! A gorgeous place. The was even Birthday decorations and cake was made for my husband. Christmas decor around too, just such a lovely place.

“Very comfortable, homely cabin to relax in”

The cabin was very cute and homely. The air conditioning worked very well, and even though it’s two beds in one room they are on opposite sides, with the kitchen in the middle so it doesn’t feel like you’re right next to each other at all. Maite was lovely and very attentive (and her banana bread delicious!).

LaMaite is a very special place, tranquil, spacious, the kids loved the pool! Maite, our hostess, was wonderful, warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable recommending beaches and places to visit. We loved the welcome Costa Rica breakfast and other treats, Maite made for us.We rented bicycles from the soda on the corner for our first week and had a car for the latter part of our visit to explore further.
