“Family run pousada, home made breakfast, ideal for carnaval”
Last minute booking for the carnaval, great choice! perfectly located in a rather calm street in Barra, but very close to the carnaval parade, this family run pousada is highly recommended, i loved their home made breakfast and their willingness to share tips and help you with your stay. Despite the clamour of the carnaval festivities, i could sleep well!

“Great posada in Barra”
It’s a simple posada with only 5 rooms and the kitchen and breakfast area, but it is nice, comfortable, very clean and most important, the staff makes you feel at home. After travelling for weeks we felt great staying here, with friendly staff, comfy bed and delicious breakfast.

“Good for the price but might other options available.”
The place was clean and exactly like the pictures. The personnel was also very kind and attentive. The breakfast was also complete and they even prepared one before the oficial time on the day of my departure as it was one hour earlier than regular breakfast time.

I loved my time staying at Pousada Acácia. Rebecca and Lorena were the perfect hosts; they were very helpful and made me feel really at home. Breakfast was amazing! I can't thank the team enough for making my stay in Salvador really special

-feels really safe -location is perfect, a female solo traveller can reach the main street of Barra without a problem (it's 2 minutes away) -hot water in the shower -free drinkable water -huge breakfast -supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance -the owner is pretty helpful
