Nice, clean and specious rooms, beautiful garden where you can chill during the day and evening. Very friendly staff (they don't speak English, but you will find the way :) ) Location is OKish, you should walk 10min to get to the beach. Restaurants and shops 5-10 min walk distance.

Nice outside/ social areas, kitchen well equipped and clean. Bathrooms decent with hot and cold water. Lovely hostel dog who made us smile. Good price for what you get and relatively good location.

Wow the hostel is so much more than on the pictures! It feels like an old villa with so much style! Our private room was spotless, the toilets were super clean, and the showers were usually also clean (depending on who used it before). It was very airy, and there was never a smell or anything as one is used to in different hostels. The employees are super kind and very helpful! The location is the best you can get in Salvador, you can get an uber anywhere and immediately. Only can recommend to stay here :) We had some problems with wifi in our private room, but there are so many communal areas that you can chill and have proper wifi reception! Thanks guys for a lovely stay, would definitely come again <3

The Atmosfere of the hostel is amazing, the staff is incredible, very helpfull and very welcoming. It's very close to the beach but not at the beach wich was very good, and there are lots of stores and supermarkets around.

The staff is amazing!!! Thanks very much for making me feel at home! The hostel feels like a home, very spacious and comfortable. I pass by different hostels in Salvador and I can definitely say this is the best by far!!

The staff in Casarão 65 is super friendly and helpful all the time. They provide coffee, and they have lockers if you need to keep your luggage after the checkout. It's only 10 minutes walking by de beach and local and nice restaurants.

This hostel is an oasis. So quickly, I felt at home and comfortable around lovely people. My 5 day stay turned into a month with ease and joy. The staff and owners are genuine, great people and the hostel itself is beautiful. Its easy to socialize or find space to be alone. Highly recommend it.

“Lovely, warm hostel in a great location!”

Great location - not too far from the beachfront, a few restaurants and supermarkets. As a solo female traveller, the location meant that it also felt safe walking around at night. Hostel is fairly big with open communal areas which allow for socialising! Own kitchen too where a lot of guests cook which is also an added bonus.
