The staff were amazing and extremely helpful and accomodating. I appreciated how easy it was to arrange transportation and experiences through the hotel. The food was delicious.

We liked everything about our stay. Favourite place in Colombia. Incredibly helpful staff, location and experience, everything really. The only regret is not staying longer.

“The best place to stay on the Valley!”

Everything was perfect! The place, the restaurant, the people… I left almost crying because I didn’t want to. Amazing, caring staff, lovely property, very close to the Cocora Valley and to Salento. They also help you arrange all the activities that you want. We did horseback riding and, even though it started pouring, it was an amazing experience. We will be recording La Cabaña to everyone!! Thank you very much for everything!!

Everything. From the moment we arrived all the staff went out of their way to make us very welcome and comfortable. Our room had everything you would need and the food in the restaurant was delicious. A big thank you to Lena,Marguerite and Carlos in the restaurant for making us so welcome at the wonderful Cabana.

“Lovely place among nature with great food”

It was absolutely lovely and wonderful stay! We went as family of 4 with 2 small kids (1 and 4), and the place was just perfect for us. Located in beautifull green valley, surrounded by nature, right on the way to Cocora Valley. Personell was super supportove, food was extraordinary (best we had in Colombia, we ate all days in the hotel restaurant). Very child friendly, with small playground, River nearby and animals (cows, horses, cats, dog) for children to watch. Excellent value for money, the overall quality of stay, food and supporting service is very high.

“Wonderful stay at la Cabaña! A peaceful stay to explore the area.”

The location of this finca is wonderful - 15 minute jeep ride to Cocora Valley and 10 min drive to Salento. It's very quiet and removed, all you can hear are the sounds of birds, cows, and the nearby river. The property itself is quite big and spacious with lots of outdoor activities. The staff is really wonderful - from helping you set up transport to/from the airport, to helping you book Jeeps and activities. We did the bird watching tour which was highly informative and beautiful. The food surpassed our expectations: the breakfast buffet was lovely and varied (they make their own milk, yoghurt, cheese, and honey which are divine), and the dinners are really tasty! Would definitely stay here again.

I had the most wonderful stay at La Cabaña Ecohotel for the second time, and it was just as magical as the first. Everything was perfect, the cozy house, the beautiful surroundings, and the delicious food. A special thanks to Sebastian the manager, Carlos, and all the amazing staff who made us feel at home. My family and I had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the horseback riding and other excursions. Truly a place worth returning to! Andres R

Our stay at La Cabana was simply wonderful! We loved how interactive the dairy farm was, the fresh breakfast (real paddock to plate!!) and how helpful all the staff were, particularly Sebastien. One of our favourite stays of the whole trip!

Loved the food and friendly staff. Highly recommend participating in the hotel activities as we felt like VIPs and the staff were so friendly, plus they know everything about the area. The food is all locally sourced and you can tell it’s high quality farm to plate. Highly recommend this hotel for your trip to cocora valley.

“Lovely”

We had a lovely stay in La Cabana. The rooms are nice, staff friendly, breakfast is good and we had an amazing dinner at the location (bbq). It’s a very relaxing environment, outside of town. Having our own car that wasn’t an issue. There’s lots of animals around, free coffee and water all day.

Beautiful rural location, fantastic to wake up to such natural beauty. Great food, homemade yogurt, ricotta and mermelada for breakfast and delicious trucha for dinner. Friendly and helpful staff, super welcome from Sebastian .Great variety of activities can be organised from there- we especially enjoyed our day in La Carbonera with Eduardo 😊
