“A Little Bit of Paradise”

What a little gem this is. We had a perfect couple of days in Chez Nou. The location is stunning and although we had to wait for the next morning to get the view from the terrace it was more than worth the wait. Mario et Michele are a lovely couple and I cannot speak highly enough of how helpful and supportive they were. We planned to walk from Col De Boeuf to La Novelle but with no car it was going to be difficult even with the local buses. Mario and Michele stepped in and agreed to take us to and pick us up from the car park at the start of the walk. Without this assistance we would have struggled, although classed as an easy walk when you are closer to 70 than 60 it was hard! They also ran us into the village one evening so we could have dinner, they just made everything so easy. We also had an excellent dinner at Chex Nou. Our French is very poor but we had a wonderful evening with Mario and Michele using an assortment of translation apps. We laughed so much and felt very much at home. We have no hesitation recommending this property. A mention also goes to Willy our transfer/excursion driver from Cultural Reunion Tours who picked us up form the airport, ran us to Hell-Bourg, transferred us to and from Grand Ilet and was just good fun to be with. Michèle was a great host! The panoramic views on the mountains were superb. The room was clean and the food delicious! Highly recommended!

Perfect location with a fantastic view of the Salazie cirque. Mario and Michelle are such good hosts, and really enjoy having guests. The food they prepared for us was superb, as was the home made Rum punch of many flavours.
